Audiences didn't like 3 nearly as much as 1 & 2 at release and it had a significantly lower box office than the previous two. 2 & 3 were filmed at the same time and released less than a year apart, so maybe that had something to do with it.

I have a better idea than stop at one, how about plan ahead, if your story is a one and done thing, one movie is enough, if if your story needs it plan it out as a trilogy or a show, the problem is people have been making sequels to stories that concluded.
I mean, it's possible to write in a compartmented fashion, where you can have a chunk that could stand alone. But because you've planned out around it, you can end up doing more if it's successful. It does take deliberate effort though, and that's kind of rare. Writing, especially for film, seems to be either 'one complete story' or 'lets bait a cinematic universe' especially these days.
Movies are funded by investment companies and they don't care about stories they only care about what's making them money at the moment but making movies takes too long so what's popular now might not be popular then when the movie is finished.
@@Sorain1 Yeah it takes planning, but I feel the best shows and movies had a lot of planning put into them, I think one of the reasons cinematic universes fail is because they're each trying to set up a future film instead of telling a story, Marvel's not perfect but most of the time the main focus is the story.

I love you guys embrace AI in unique and interesting ways that showcase the possibilities that are opened to small studios, indie creators, and CZcamsrs. It’s not just an evil tool that can be abused by mega corporations and movie studios, but widens the tools available to everyone who doesn’t have access to millions of dollars.
Saying Dark Fate is better than Salvation is just insane. Also, knowing the context of the Bale freakout is important. He had already spoken with the person previously and the person continued to screw up seemingly on purpose.
10:30 The whole point of the sequels especially the second one, and wonderfully explained in the TV show Sarah Conner Chronicles is that whenever anyone goes back, the future changes, but ultimately the world is still taken over by AI, and they have to continue until it stops or accept that humanity is at its end. Cyberdyne is destroyed but someone else continues their work, Skynet is still created. The fate of humanity and the future is only decided by our desires to change it.
I know this is all done as parody, but essentially redubbing Keanu and the other actors is really groundbreaking. You essentially got them to work for you in reshoots without paying anyone. Its crazy.
Needs alot of fine tuning but you're looking at the future of acting right there, A-list actors will just rent out their likeness' and others will take it from there.
As much as I appreciate the meme quality of this, I really wish Corridor would stop making so many A.I. focused projects. It's just not as interesting as Wren's builds or "True size" videos, or when you use VFX to combine movies like you did with the Pattinson/Adam West Batman mash-up. Not trying to be a hater, but these A.I. centered videos just scream more low effort than the other stuff you guys do. Maybe I'm a minority in this, I don't know, but I'm way more invested in your videos when you show the actual skills it takes to make something look good, like with Jordan's recent video about time-crunched VFX artists.
The Descent and The Descent 2 are a fantastic back-to-back watch. If you remove the credits from the end of the first one, it’s just one long movie. It’s phenomenal.
I like the Pixar approach of "We don't tell a story unless there is a story to be told." If your story or world has another story to be told, go for it. If not, let it be.
My favourite media is the ones that the creator planned the ending ahead of time. No matter how long or short, if the story is planned it is miles ahead of any bullshit written as it goes.
The thing I like about the Terminator sequels is how messed up the timestream is. It actually takes into account how screwing around in time screws everything up. The opening bit in T3 where John is lamenting how he doesn't know what to do with his life because the future he prepared for never happened was great. I'm not saying the movies are good, mind you, I just like how the chaos progressed.

The how to train your dragon series was absolutely phenomenal, each and every installment building on the previous one and the ending of the whole series was satisfying and conclusive. Proving that knowing when and how to end a series makes it far better than leaving it open for another sequel
I saw Alien: Romulus last night and was pretty disappointed. The CGI used to make Rook look like the actor from Aliens was jarringly bad (I wish they would stop this trend and just get actors that look similar like Doctor Sleep). They also fell into the “we always have to up the ante” trap at the end and it was just like someone grabbed the wheel and took a hard left in the last 15 minutes.
i’d love for corridor to at least make time in the background to work on a short film showcasing their real knowledge skills they learned over the years where they don’t have to worry about tight deadlines where the end products end up looking half baked most of the time. they made it clear that they at least have the knowledge and talent for it if they just took their time with it
the "release an original to theaters" bit of the song needs to be hammered into the brains of all the studios. the bullshit studios are pulling now is making new movies basically useless. Great job as always, Corridor!

I know this is all done as parody, but essentially redubbing Keanu and the other actors is really groundbreaking. You essentially got them to work for you in reshoots without paying anyone. Its crazy.

As much as I appreciate the meme quality of this, I really wish Corridor would stop making so many A.I. focused projects. It's just not as interesting as Wren's builds or "True size" videos, or when you use VFX to combine movies like you did with the Pattinson/Adam West Batman mash-up. Not trying to be a hater, but these A.I. centered videos just scream more low effort than the other stuff you guys do. Maybe I'm a minority in this, I don't know, but I'm way more invested in your videos when you show the actual skills it takes to make something look good, like with Jordan's recent video about time-crunched VFX artists.
The Descent and The Descent 2 are a fantastic back-to-back watch. If you remove the credits from the end of the first one, it’s just one long movie. It’s phenomenal.

The thing I like about the Terminator sequels is how messed up the timestream is. It actually takes into account how screwing around in time screws everything up. The opening bit in T3 where John is lamenting how he doesn't know what to do with his life because the future he prepared for never happened was great. I'm not saying the movies are good, mind you, I just like how the chaos progressed.

The how to train your dragon series was absolutely phenomenal, each and every installment building on the previous one and the ending of the whole series was satisfying and conclusive. Proving that knowing when and how to end a series makes it far better than leaving it open for another sequel

I saw Alien: Romulus last night and was pretty disappointed. The CGI used to make Rook look like the actor from Aliens was jarringly bad (I wish they would stop this trend and just get actors that look similar like Doctor Sleep). They also fell into the “we always have to up the ante” trap at the end and it was just like someone grabbed the wheel and took a hard left in the last 15 minutes.
The ending song was legendary. Needs a sequel for sure.
i’d love for corridor to at least make time in the background to work on a short film showcasing their real knowledge skills they learned over the years where they don’t have to worry about tight deadlines where the end products end up looking half baked most of the time. they made it clear that they at least have the knowledge and talent for it if they just took their time with it
