I'm not a video editor and I don't have the software or hardware to do that right now but I always imagined that copying and inverting the waveform would cancel an specific track. I've done it in music production. The audio track for the scene exists and the track for the John Williams' music exists so it feels natural that it would work that way.

Impressive work. I always thought some parts would do better without music, but where it needs the music should remain. Kind of like how selective they were with Luke and Vaders duel in ESB. I like to think the beginning where obi wan gets off the ship works well with no music, then have the music starting just as they duel, maybe somewhere in the middle cut the music for a sec. When obi wan chops anakin’s limbs, cut the music, then start the music around the bit where anakin says “I Hate You!”. That’s my take. Neat to see 👍
Yk whats funny I tried doing an edit of this scene with other music in the background and disney blocked it worldwide i did everything I could to like change it as much as possible but I still couldnt have it unblocked which makes no sense.
