It was a good run. Robert H. Schuller's wide range of guest speakers showed an inclusiveness and broadness of spirit which lifted up his viewers. Although these last days of the Crystal Cathedral as a free-standing entity are inevitably times of grief, let us be thankful for what we received, not bitter about dreams that could not be. From being a "Cathedral" in name, to being an actual Catholic cathedral, is a good outcome. May the peace of the Lord be with us all.

I think RHS and Arvella his wife made exactly the right move supporitng the Catholic Diocese of Orange. Now it will be a house of worship for centuries as Schuller had wanted.

The church I currently attend has only 24-26 pews, but it is honest about the pains of life, is made up mostly of working class people, and genuinely to seeks to follow God's will and the Scriptures. I cannot believe I once thought the Crystal Cathedral was a healthy church as a kid. Better to be in the sincere brethren of a few than a halfhearted gathering of many.
