But with the younger generations, she finds Christina to be vocally superb considering how sweet and soft her voice is whenever she speaks then transforms to a vocal monster whenever she sings!!!

When she sings, she has such conviction and power, and confidence. She sings like she's 10 feet tall. Then she says "thank you" in the sweetest and most demure voice. The two sides of a woman, I guess. Also, I'm so happy you mention the backing vocals! They are so good! I'm obsessed with this live version, it's such a great update.
Christina aguilera is such an underrated in nowadays vocal coach online on youtube. She always got bullied and bashed just bcs strained and blablabla. But y'all need to know that her name is really got appreciated from such an oldschool vocal coach who still care about how to sing in big and loud. As a belcanto standart. Singing like christina isnt easy. Shes the only one of new diva that still keep her chest projection in singing. Chest projection is coming from Developped *Thyroarytenoid Muscle* . Idk maybe christina aguilera realize or not but she's in the place where her TA muscle really got used to carry the heavy loads (chest voice) , y'all need to know to make ur TA muscle get used to it and make it developped needs thousand of excercise, there is thousand of opera singer give up to excercise their TA muscle cz their muscle got injured. But christina is in the place where her TA muscle get used to it and strong to carry her Chest voice. Singing without chest voice just makes ur voice sounds muffled as sohyang did (she has such a really bad TA muscle and has no chest projection). Singing with chest voice makes ur voice sounds big and loud as it supposed to be. bcs the optimum resonance comes from the core of ur voice and its chest. thats why christina's voice sounds so big and loud cz she always serious for adding her chest projection (TA dominant), but sadly, she just care about her TA muscle and forget about her CT ( *Cricothyroid* ) muscle. that what makes her lacks of flexibility to hit the upper note.

I haven’t seen enough people talking about the fact that she toned down her runs in a Beautiful by A LOT! And I loved it, it allows her tone to shine even more and people are able to sing along because the melody is simpler. I love that she seems to go for simpler melodic lines now, and only adds runs and riffs in specific places that need accentuation.
Xtina is a Vocal Beast, everyone knows that.. she is incomparable..
Shes the greatest voice of the past 20 years. People try to say she has no technique, but she really does...her very own!! And she can still blow. No nodules like another singer

Love watching your Christina reactions! She is my favorite vocalist since Mariah so I worship her. I just wish she would hold some notes longer (such as the shiiiiine in Beautiful). Also Pero Me Acuerdo de ti, this arrangement was more midtempo than the slower original ballad arrangement. Im glad she is singing it as I LOVE that song but i dont like it nearly as much as the original arrangement and the end high note is lower and shorter than before. When i listen to that note in the live versions of the original performances they are so amazing. Still stunning any way you look at it, her tone is to die for and she is incredible.

I love what you said about her speaking voice. There's a video of her at 17 or 18 and she was asked to sing the high note from Reflection. She's talking with a sweet voice, then BOOM she sings just "insiiiiiide" and goes back to her normal voice. If you didn't know her, you'd think it was all staged. No way that sweet feminine voice and those powerful growly belts are coming out of the same little blonde girl.

@@dv4975 Chile, she ALWAYS sounds like that in her upper register because of her younger tone and the speed of her agility. You can take a look at any 2013 live performance and see that it's just her voice.

@@VocalStudioYAZIK she just made the song short. Since they shortened the song, the D6 note became a c#6 falsetto or whatever note it was. There was a key change but they removed all of that. But theres one where she sang the key change on her xtour, you can watch it on youtube too, its everywhere lol and its better
