I used the exact same setting as you choose with the "Prevent fuse burning (enable AutoRCM)" at 7:10, but I don't understand what the choice meant. Do fuses get burned if I turn on the Switch and forget to have the RCM jig inserted or how does it work?
Auto rcm means you dont need to use RCM jig anymore. everytime you boot up your switch or reboot it, It will direct boot into RCM mode. You just need to send the payload and thats it. As far as I know if you choose auto rcm on your fuse will not burned.
Will this work if you have the mod done to switch between the normal firmware and CFW? I have that.

With ChoidujourNX you can only update to FW 11.0.1, but with daybreak you can update any FW :)

The newest way to update your Firmware is using daybreak, much easier as well.
seems like daybreak only works for atmosphere

I have an sd card on fat 32 and i want to add exfat support. Do I need to make a new emunand after adding the exfat support? And do I need to re install atmosphere?

What do you mean by "You may have old CFW file so that is why your Switch refuse to boot into CFW and stay on RCM mode"?
When I try to boot it, i only get a black screen.
You need to delete your old cfw file since that every cfw have they own config version. so if you try to update your cfw you need to get rid of your old cfw file otherwise your new cfw will keep reading the old config and that make it refuse to boot into new cfw that you were trying to boot into.

@@sverrijoensen Delete atmosphere, bootloader & sept folders. copy all file from your new cfw and then paste it over to the root of your memory card.

check on your pc if your sd card is formated to exfat if so use exfat, if its fat32 use normal

Yes you can. update it via sysnand so you can keep your emummc to 10.0 fw.

Update it back again using choidujournx. Format your sd card first to fat32 format since your switch cant read exfat format.

Try to replace your cfw and make sure you format it this time. Sometime it occurred because you have been using old file and it refuse to boot into cfw.

You mean games from cartridges or backup? if you want to play backup games you need to get signature patches for your certain cfw.

@@olakunlemakinde2323 Your screen is showing nothing because your switch are booting into rcm mode. Since you have choose auto-RCM on you dont have to use jig anymore. try to connect your switch to your pc and then lainch tegrarcm to see if it on rcm mode or not

what is you sd card type? is it fat32 or exfat? did you choose exfat support or without exfat support while updating your switch?

I have a patched siwtch (not mariko) with sx core, i dont have the prevent fuses option, should i continue or what method, should i use?
For a patched switch units Im not sure whether you can follow this or not since I dont have switch v2 or switch lite. I dont recommend you to follow this video since Im not sure what wrong will happen if you tried this on a patched switch console.

Shxt 80% of my games are now fail to start after update i tried many options like install and reinstall the games, tickets, sig patches nothing help 😱
I believe that you were using outdated sigpatches. Get the latest one with your current cfw.

@@martinschmahn7524 What cfw did you use? I suggest to use atlasnx kosmos + atmosphere kip patches. Install the sigpatches manually and not by using awoo installer

Yes it is safe. Im using it upgrading and downgrading my switch without no problem. M sure you dont do this on a newest switch model.

11.0.1 after i update it i waited for 30 sec to reboot and nothing happen i try to hard reset and only the sxos logo pop up and suddenly turn off

@@j0k3r25 try to hold down the power button for 20 second to let it completely turned off and then boot it into rcm.

I used sxlite, my switch work but formating the sd and reinstaling the gomanx (i'm brazilian sorry for the english)
@@sprigganplays There is no way you will brick your switch if set it right. Switch v1 doesnt get brick easily since it was hackable. It maybe because it turn into auto rcm and you didnt notice it.
@@anazeus how to relink after updating the firmware when you enable the auto rcm? did it reset everything or delete the setting and account?
