This Failed Part Prevented My Mig Welder From Working Correctly

Shielding gas solenoid failed on my Hobart 185 welder. Bought the part and fixed it quickly.

I think I know what happened. The teflon tape you had on the gas hose threads got into the valve and stopped up the works. Never put teflon tape on welder gas threads.

Yeahhh I didn’t think of that! I put that on there years ago before I figured out the magic behind those fittings.
