Digital Marquees & LED buttons & joysticks. I have a controller with a switch plugged into the wall socket way easier than a button on top or anywhere less than $20 on amazon.
@@Scantron5k I just have a small remote I can turn it on from across the room one button to turn it on the other to turn it off it is very convenient and super simple. I think either solution is good that is what is great about modding so many alternate solutions!

Since the Xbox one S is Bluetooth, I wanted to know if it would sync to the megacade without needing the additional dongle. I know that is a big deal for the windows 10 and would like to use these controllers as I also heard they work better via Bluetooth. Thoughts?
Hey bro, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I haven't messed with any Xbox One controllers whatsoever. My 360 controllers work flawlessly and that's all I really need. If I ever do upgrade to the Xbox One controller is, I'll definitely post to review!

Hey, thanks. And yes, do to copyright limitations MAME only supports Golden Tee up to the 2006 Complete version. If you want 2007 all the way up to 2022, you have to buy a Nighthawk system which is what is used in the Golden Tee machines.

Hey, thanks for the props! These little hacks will definitely help out quite a bit. It's odd that you can't find the clips, have you tried going to your local Home Depot or Lowe's? I know you can find them there for sure. Maybe even your local hardware store.
Congrats. The Golden Tee swing guide that I have on my machine was custom-made and I had it printed at a local sign shop. It's just a black vinyl sticker.
my question is how hard is it to get through a door and up or down steps? how heavy is it? The machine looks massive I purchased one and now im worried about getting it into my basement.
The control panel is removable and they are built to fit through any standard doorway, but they are heavy. Probably around 3-400lbs. Go to the Extreme Home Arcades Facebook group fan page and use the search tool to look up different methods and things that people have done to have them moved up and down stairs.
I'm 6'5" and noticed when you were showing the LED light and showed underneath the cabinet that you had what looks like feet to hold up the cabinet. Did you do this to make the cabinet as a whole higher off the ground to play/see easier? If so is it safe? One of the things I'm worried about is being so tall. Normal arcade machines I have to hunch over and thats terrible for my back
No, I didn't add height to the machine but I know plenty of people who have. Nothing dangerous about it. I've seen people put 5in casters underneath which will raise the machine several inches if that's something you want to do.
I started by running it around the bottom side of the machine, drilled a hole on the back right corner, then ran it up inside of the cabinet and back out underneath of the control panel in the front and then back in. It gives lighting inside of the cabinet and under the control panel as well.
Hey Scantron-did you drill a hole or holes into the cabinet to fish the cables through for the usb hub and Microsoft WiFi Xbox receiver? I’m going to do both here soon.
Scantron5k - so if the usb hub doesn’t plug into your computer, what are you plugging it into in your control panel? Sorry for the questions. 😂 I am definitely not a techie.
@@sschulz21 LOL, I'm not saying that you don't plug it into the computer, I'm just saying that I mounted it under the control panel, and I used a USB extension cable to run it from underneath of the control panel down to the computer. The control panel is detachable, so once you loosen the screws to remove the control panel, you can squeeze the cable underneath the control panel inside of the cabinet. That's where I grooved out a little notch in the wood so that the cable could sit in a groove without being smashed under the control panel.

I don't have rechargeable packs in my controllers, but if I were to purchase some, my controllers are already hanging right near the hub and can charge at any time. By the way, I tried reaching out to you by commenting on one of your videos after my livestream about 3 weeks ago. Your son kept asking about Five Nights at Freddy's and I didn't think it was on the machine. After you got off the livestream, another subscriber asked me to look at a computer game category and there was literally about five or six versions of Five Nights at Freddy's! I just wanted to let you know.

After they finished doing the big Windows 10 update they are now able to focus on adding new games again. I do believe that there are some additional PS3 titles coming on the latest update and I'm hoping to have a version of that hard drive this week. 360 controllers are the standard, but you can now use Xbox One controllers as well.

Actually, no. I just had to lift the control panel up and create a little groove that the cables could lay in when I set the panel back down.
