😂😂 That’s where I first saw him. I had heard that on his first Dean Martin roast appearance. Dean Martin did not know who he was, I think it was 1974? And Dean actually thought he was drunk! People have to remember that Dean Martin didn’t stay up to watch Johnny Carson. Many times on his own roasts he did not know who was being roasted until they were about to go onto the dais. Not 100% sure on the accuracy of the story but it’s one of those that you hope is true.

He was riding in the back of a convertible sitting in the middle with his arms stretched out resting on the left and right side of the car. I ran out to the car with my camera and shouted at him Foster (because he was facing away from me) he turned toward me and I said loudly,( trying to imitate him) I want to take your picture. He smiled and i did! I started back to to the side of the street and i quickly turned around and ran back said, Foster ive gotta shake your hand, and we did. Ha, that made my day.
