I have theory about SCP 2406. It goes like this, so In Greek mythology, The god of blacksmiths, Hepastus built a giant mechanical robot, named Talos and gave it to a king. The king's name was king Minos and he ruled over the Agean sea and the islands. It is also said that the robot would wade in the water and destroy enemy ships with its bare hands. Coincidence ?

The audio mixing in this one is pretty bad. The voice often gets drowned out by the background music and sound effects.

Sounds like there was an ancient war or threat since it says that egypt retreats from the world which might mean that egypt was neutral in the conflict and since a simbol meaning nine is on it means theres atleast 8 others. The pilots were in a death sentence slowly being killed by radiation
You are correct. From what we know, it was used during a massive war. Between the worshipers of flesh, the sarkics (the dudes who summoned the flesh who hates) and the church of the broken god (followers of the makane. The machine god).
The colossuses were made to wage war against the giant Kaijus that were summoned by the sarkichs.
Those high pitched notes caused me and my wife to wince in pain from the intensity as we attempted to listen to the narration

It’s SCP. It’s all fiction.
It plays on the idea of a secret organization. Who hides anomalies from the public. Anomalies that range from world ending monsters, to just a slime creature who likes to cuddle people.

and the writing for it is amazing. cause it's all fan made. SCP is almost entirely run by the fans. while somewhat controlled by a admin group, overall, it is mostly fans sharing crazy stories and works of fiction.
Additionally, since its freeform, there is no set "canon". you can make stories crossing different SCPs without worrying about set timelines. even different scps interconnecting together to form a larger narrtive.
the possibilities for stories are almost endless.
