- Reaction To Ihmebantu - Samaan tahtiin kävelijät
This is my reaction to Ihmebantu - Samaan tahtiin kävelijät
In this video I react to Finnish comedy show Ihmebantu and some interesting observational comedy.
Original Video - • Ihmebantu - Samaan tah...

Ihmebantu is the greatest Finnish comedy series of all time. The sound design on this serie is phenomenal and the more obsure and dark sketches are just pure gold.
So true! 😂 We most definitely require our personal space.
I forgot about Ihmebantu completely. Thanks for bringing this up.
Never even seen this series. As a Finn

This is one those weird/dark/bizarre sketch-shows... I still remember randomly discovering it from TV and reacting like what the absolute hell am I seeing, I love it.
In Finnish language the letter J is pronounced the same manner as Y in "yellow." Hopefully this helps.
Thanks, helped immediately
In my workplace there are people from all over the world and among those the Japanese seem to do best when trying to pronounce stuff they dont even know the meaning off. So while discussing about Finnish language with my British colleague, I asked him to try pronouncing the Finnish words with a fake Japanese accent. Immideate improvement.
Ihmebantu has some really great ones. I especially love these Jani Volanen's little rants. Moikkaaminen (Saying Hi) is another great one, but I don't think there's one with subtitles on youtube.
Ihmebantu - Häpäti. I strongly recommend that!
This! Its brilliant and absurd! 😅
Yes. Very dark but still brilliant.
I love that many of those clips of Finnish comedy shows in CZcams have English subtitles for that people who don't understand Finnish can enjoy them too. The people who made the subtitles should be offered a coffee or beer at least :D
Non-interesting trivia: we all have our natural walking rhythm and speed. Veering away from that means you are using quite a lot more energy, your joints are not moving right, you get impact stress etc. This is also true for walking slower, which is somewhat counter-intuitive... you would think that walking slower would save energy but over distance.. it doesn't.
If you are familiar with the British TV show "Jam", Ihmebantu is basically the Finnish equivalent. Both brilliant.
Siskonpeti: Viinapäivä/Finnish booze day
Yes happened too many times
As a Finn I relate 1000%.
Kummeli panomies. The best Finnish sketch ever ✨👍🏻✨
Ketonen & Myllyrinne offers great finnish comedy as well
Next Studio Julmahuvi, Die Kühe 🥸
Studio Julmahuvi - The Last Wanderers. It's a great parody!
Ihmebantu has some very deep stuff. Especially the stuff where Korpela talks 3-5mins walking around. Too bad that there aren't English subtitles for those.
"Ihmebantu is a surrealistic trip for adult's taste. Every episode of the series is full of skits which aren't really skits at all, because issues like death, insanity and terrorism are not actually funny."
Ihmebantu - Häpätiti is the best
In Finnish letter 'h' doesn't mean longer vowel but a voiced glottal fricative sound, little bit similar as the ending of word 'loch'. Finnish word "ihme" means a miracle but also weird and strange while the 'bantu' is the name of certain African people, so the name of the show is not exactly politically correct in these days. Some of the skits of the show were really dark satire in the same vein as "A Modest Proposal" by Jonathan Swift, so when it has it's rerun it was slapped an age restriction of 15 years old and was shown only late at night.
Ihmebantu was special, only 1 series was done, which probably helps with its cult status as well.
lots of times when i almost walk at same speed than some people i start like speed walkin that is an actual sport lol to the point that my ankles start hurtin so i go past em and gain distance
Limmy and Ihmebantu definitely has the same vibe. surreal and some times it can get really dark.
The concept of Ihmebantu was a carbon copy of a British show Jam, you might know about. Often so grim and surreal jokes, that one wonders if it's allowed to laugh at them to begin with. These Volanen monologues are some of the most easily understandable and accessible of the jokes. Personally I think it was a bit of a hit and miss. Some real classics there (like Hospital Singers, The Grave Shouter, Vemparen - the FinnoSwede version of a Cheaters -type of show), but I don't think there are subtitles to those available, unfortunately.
I'd suggest "Häpäti" from Ihmebantu, that one doesn't really have much dialogue so you can understand it even without subtitles.
It would nice to see some good skottish comedy!
Chippendale - Ranuan kummit
For classic Finnish comedy you have not covered yet, I would suggest Lapinlahden Linnut in general. Unfortunately it doesn't seem there's much available with English subtitles. Sähköhammasharja and Vittuilupuhelin would be some prime ones.
Shame I couldn't find Studio Julmahuvi - Die Kühe with english subtitles, that would be awesome.
tämä.. kummeli saldo😃
finnish problems
I'll just leave these here...

React to Ketonen Ja Myllyrinne!
If you are into Limmy definitely check out more Ihmebantu!
Please master your audio 5-10db higher.
Compared to the ads and other videos you appear very silent.
😂😂😂😂
I love Ihmebantu. I've heard it copies an english show but i don't know which how much. Very underrated show, i think. I don't like this sketch thought, too basic whiner guy.
