The Shadow Queen is my favorite Mario villain, bar none. She has such a cool design, and the music that plays during the first and third phases of the final battle with her are absolute bangers. They should definitely bring the Shadow Queen back in a future Mario game.

I stopped playing TTYD for 2 months because i couldnt beat her, came back and dominated, she really gets in ya head and makes you feel you cant beat her, she was the greatest villain of the paper Mario saga.....even over Demento

It was my next run with this game that I decided to fight some enemies so I can level up. Ps: I was 6 at the time.

Like if she protects herself with her parasol, absolutely nothing in the game can damage her and it works better than a regular shield in Super Smash Bros. I mean seriously, explosions do absolutely nothing to her when she protects herself with the parasol, and she can use it for an unlimited time which basically gives her unlimited invincibility for an unlimited amount of time!
Probably my favorite main antagonist of any Mario game. Probably because despite her extremely limited screen time she is still directly and even indirectly responsible for almost if not all the events in TTYD effectively making her the main villain of the entire game even surpassing Grodus and even Beldam. Grubba and Cortez getting the Crystal Stars? She created those. The X-Nauts? Pawns to Beldam who's her most loyal follower. Doopliss? Again recruited by Beldam and again even before that he got a Crystal Star. She created the Crystal Stars. She catalyzed the events of the game by creating them and all the different villains wanting them for their own different motives which leads to the chaos Mario and his friends have to go through. And the thing is the Shadow Queen would probably be perfectly content with this. Grodus is a pawn to the Shadow Queen. Cortez may not have worked with her but he still got a Crystal Star which led to the Koopa being cursed by him. The tails? Her pets. Shadow Sirens? They work for her and manipulated Grodus and the X-Nauts who are the primary enemies in the game. It all is traced back to the Shadow Queen. The real villain of the entire game. It's clever how what initially seems to be a series of branching story arcs of each chapter all cleverly come together in an overarching narrative if one reads between the lines. It makes that buildup when the big bad finally does make her appearance as the real final boss all the more impactful. And rightfully so. She's fittingly one of the hardest if not the hardest boss in the game to defeat. The only boss that comes close is an optional one in the Pit which again the Shadow Queen created and that boss is one of her pets. You don't need to meet the Shadow Queen to know of all the effects and chaos she has caused to the world and once you beat the game and you know all the lore behind her yes she's a very effective villain in that regard. But when she finally makes her appearance she sets the stage to mega levels of dark both literally and figuratively. She one shots Grodus reducing him to just his cybernetic brain, possesses Peach using her body as a mere puppet then even when she leaves Peach's body her ghostly tail wraps around her form, just her mere presence darkens the world. And unlike any other villain in the game who had some humoristic quirk (Even Grodus can be funny at times with his coughing fits and how he carries around throat pills for himself) the Shadow Queen has none of that. She's a cruel, cold, and calculating tyrant who just wants to see the world drown in eternal darkness and it's inhabitants condemned to eternal suffering. She even goes so far as to just drain souls from the audience and consume them. She has no remorse when she does so. You see the audience drop dead as she does so. Even when her weakness of the Crystal Stars is used by Mario against her fighting her proves to be a struggle for our heroic plumber as she has such devastating and powerful spells at her disposal that it makes for one heck of a climatic battle. It makes her being sealed by Mario once more this time for good in that weakened state all the more satisfying. The build up, the pay off. It all is brilliant.

Also she single-handedly defeated every boss including Bowser in Super Princess Peach and is considered top-tier in Smash Ultimate and Melee. That being said, I am better at Captain Falcon, Zelda, Sora & Link than Peach & Daisy in Smash Ultimate even though Samsora is an OP Peach player in Smash that became the champion of many Smash tournaments. If you win a battle against Samsora’s Peach and become the champion of the tournament that Samsora is in with a character that isn’t Peach, come back to me and prove it and then I will understand why you say Peach is weak, otherwise what you say has no evidence to back it up and I will still consider Peach strong
Evil Peach should not have won because she wanted to destroy the entire universe with Paper Mario, Paper Peach, Paper Luigi & Paper Bowser. If she were real in this universe she would have tried to destroy this entire universe including you, and you would not have liked being killed by her. I honestly don’t think Shadow Queen deserved to commit such an unthinkable crime and I am glad that Mario stopped her from destroying the entire Paper Universe because if the game was written that she would destroy the entire paper universe no matter what happens, Paper Mario, Paper Peach, Paper Luigi & Paper Bowser would cease to exist and you would no longer get to play any more new paper mario games. Regular Peach saved Mario, Luigi, Yoshi & Toad, saved the entire universe from Dimentio, Tabuu, and the list goes on and on. Hotness to me is marked by how good and kind a person is so therefore regular Peach is hot because she is kind and Shadow Queen Peach is not hot because she killed Grotus, is evil, and wanted to kill everyone by destroying the universe. She is literally worse than Thanos. Thanos at least spared half of the human population, but Shadow Queen Peach wanted to destroy the entire universe, including every living being in existence, with nobody spared, everyone dead. If you think that a psychopathic murderer is hot then you have a unique taste
