- In this video, I'll talk about my experiences with Loop Earplugs and what you should know if you're considering using them on a motorcycle ride.
Loop Earplugs are a great way to reduce the noise of your motorcycle ride, and I recommend them to anyone who is interested in using them. I'll share with you my experiences using Loop Earplugs and what you should know if you're thinking of using them on a motorcycle ride.
I've been using the Loop Quiet Earplugs for a couple of months now. So I figured with the riding season coming to an end id let you know my thoughts on the Loop Quiet Earplugs when using them while riding a motorcycle. They do have some more expensive Loop Earplugs but I really don't feel the need to spend more.

I have to say that i really do like the Loop earbuds. And whenever I'm going for a somewhat long ride I wear them. Other than the case these are great.

Its the Wind noise you don’t want to have , not the sound of your bike, right?!
I’m an adventure rider. On highway they are great. Off highway when encountering even the smallest of bumps, the loops make contact with my headset speaker and make a terrible buffering sound, painful. If I didn’t have the speakers it wouldn’t be an issue. For that reason I’ll be sticking with soft plugs.
Thanks for the review!! Quick question when using them for riding: will it block out ambient sounds like cars pulling up from behind you or sirens, or other sounds that a rider should be able to hear for his/her safety? Thanks!
i cant say for the Quiet version, but i have the Experience and no, they dont block anything. You can here everything but at lower volume, which is the best option for hearing protection while also being aware of the traffic. Maybe you could say they are blocking the wind more than other things but i would definitely recommend them, they are great!
Can you still here sirens from emergency vehicles with these? I’m considering ones with a bit less nrr rating as this is my only concern
yes you can, at least with Experience version

I'm stunned that you didn't figure out the vibration from a motorbike might damage the hard plastic case 😯
Perhaps a better idea might be to either put the case on your house keys, which you probably keep in your pocket?
Or just keep the case in your jacket pocket?
Probably one of these guys who is wearing a metallic keychain also and then wondering why some places on the motorcycle are scratched :D
Does it take the wind noise away
i find that most wind noise is gone.
I use a pair from a different company that I am very happy with.
It's unfortunate that the case was such inferior quality.
i really do like these, but the case just sucked. Maybe I was the only one with the issue, but I've figured out a way to carry them without the case now.

How is it with engine and the loud exhaust sound ?
im very happy with them. We have Cobra exhaust on one of our bikes and its pretty loud. Thats the bike that i actually got these for. Helps a lot.

If you're the one riding/driving and not a passenger then it is actually illegal to wear earplugs.
Maybe where you live. But not where I live.
Check your local laws. Most places have no issues with earplugs. Earbuds yes.
5 minutes in and you don’t like the case. Bloody painful to watch.
well if the case breaks and you no longer have to earplugs thats kind of an issue.
