- I regret to inform you that as of this morning, we have had a harvest of deaths in excess of 100, we have buried not less than 15 people in Mangu LGA and in Bokkos over a hundred and it is still counting, minus those who are still missing and we cannot account for at the moment. Also, not less than 17 communities have been completely burnt down, those who survived are currently sheltering in the temporary IDP camp. It has been a great tragedy in Plateau. This crisis has nothing to do with farmer-herder conflict or religion, this is pure criminality and terrorism

Plateau indigenes should begin to discuss and act on collective security...as the government effort just seem to keep falling short!
Why are we not asking who the killers are and when they will be brought to justice. I’m hearing this and that measures will be taken so it doesn’t happen again. How will it not happen again if the terrorist are allowed to simply retreat and go scot free. What is the consequences of a barbaric terrorist act on defenseless citizens?

There is something i don't understand with the governor's statement. He said that the attack is not religious or ethnic related but criminal. My question is, what type of criminality is the attack related to? Is it stealing or kidnapping?
