Bringing back "Don't tell Luke" after all this time is truly the deepest cut.
The Ox-verse lore is deeper than any media.
It's certainly the deepest cut to Luke. There are mainstream movies with less shocking betrayals than this.
It only took 1 million subscribers haha
Okay, I'm not familiar with this, but now that I've come across it, I have to ask: why wasn't Luke invited?? 😂
The way I GASPED when Ellen, after 6 years, finally told Luke
SAME
Well, not on PURPOSE...Living with the lie for 6 years... ;P
Luke walking out! Oh my gosh 😂
❤
Should of had the sad rainy day music play
Ellen dropping the ball on Legoland had me in absolute fits of laughter 😂
Absolutely wild that I can remember that trip to Legoland that Ellen definitely didn't take in 2017 and I cannot remember important life events that I actually experienced. 🤣
Loving Jon's more active interactions. He kinda is the viewers avatar
Agreed!
True. John is cool 😎
The quiet "I told Luke" had me laughing so hard that my cheeks hurt!
We've come full circle on the "Don't tell Luke" lore. 😂
The chaotic sibling energy in this episode is awesome.
Luke’s reaction to Ellen’s Legoland trip is absolutely priceless 😂😂
That'll be a moment in the 2 Million subs video 😂
@@Cukeman85 itll be in decembers presh mems first 😂
@@baxter22071990 100% 😃
00:02:55 for when it happens
That kind of callback is known as a BRICK JOKE, so the fact it's about Lego is the best thing ever. But Ellen didn't even have the decency to lose after letting it slip? For shame.
i genuinely spat my tea bursting into laughter at Luke's deeply offended and betrayed face at the reveal oh god my keyboard 😂😂
The "I did go to Lego land" was so funny, seemed like a bit but also a genuine reaction at the same time.
Thanks Jon for wrestling Lukes finger away from that button!
I'd like to congratulate Ellen and Luke on a joke that was gut-bustingly funny even though the set-up and the punch-line were five and a half years apart. That's a presh-mem!
The big "Legoland Reveal" reminded me of Hank in Breaking Bad, realising (on the toilet) how he had been played like a damn fiddle...then leaves the family gathering, heart-broken.
Loved the little bit of John on this video. Rewatch the Link’s Awakening videos often and would love another Let’s Play with him
That sudden moment of realization from Luke and Ellen was more tense than anything that came from any movie or TV show this year 😂
This challenge. Luke's emotional range. Legoland flashback.
Feels
"I don't want it that way" 🎵🎶
Luke discovering Ellen's Legoland secret had me physically saying "OH NOOOO!" over and over again. I never would have thought that Don't Tell Luke (tm) would go this far XD
Luke's reaction to discovering there's another page of the instructions is like when you think you've finished an exam really early ahead of everyone else and then discover there's another page 😱
That is the longest payoff to a bit I think I’ve ever seen. And it was absolutely worth it. Delightful episode
6 years later the arc finally comes to an end. Going to be honest, I completely forgot about that until Ellen said that and some faint voice in the back of my head tried to scream "don't tell Luke."
As soon as she mentioned the trip, first thing that came to my mind was that voice saying "don't tell luke" lol
The years-old lore along with these bonds is what brings people back to the channel time and time again.
Also my family has done a Boxing Day Lego challenge for about a decade, and we have these same debates about pieces and complexities of kits!!
I feel that Ellen's spoiler warning line did not get the respect it deserved. A top notch line
No it got appropriately sandbagged like it deserved
@@callumdonington2227 OK.
Big sibling energy in this vid, with Jon doubling down on his dad persona. Based on this and Gollum video, I think Ellen is his favourite child...
Full use of the expressiveness Luke's face, 10/10
Came for the lego speed building, stayed for the Luke outrage at Ellen being to Lego Land
Ellen! The one rule!
(Also, I really loved the sibling-esque nature of this episode, poor Luke lmao)
I can’t believe we’ve spent 5 years not telling Luke! That’s flown by!
Almost six! Six years.
I may need a moment to comprehend that.
I love how Ellen’s inner Londoner comes out when she’s annoyed, “Oi!”
I had to pause and laugh for at least 5 minutes at Ellen's "I told Luke" 😂
The chemistry here for our two co-hosts is wonderful!
Lmao xD I can't believe she finally let it slip!
And that they kept this gag going all this time! Amazing!
"Just make a cube and put the biggest engine on it ever so it goes real fast!"
Mike's influence as a race car lover continues to affect Luke, I see.
That's the ferrari method
Once again, Luke and Ellen are just like Jon's kids
Luke’s reaction expressions are always great, but this episode is like a best of Luke disappointment expressions and I’m here for it.
The best bit of the weekend! Congrats on 1 million subscribers guys!
I came for lighthearted Lego content. I stayed for deep channel lore 😁
Jon really is Ultimate Work Dad isn't he?
The sibling energy in this episode was wonderful, I laughed heartily xDDDD
Now that's what I call a callback!
You know if there's one thing I can appreciate it's commitment to a bit. Well done, Luke and Ellen. 🤣🤣
It's content like this that got you the million subs. As ever, brightening Saturday mornings.
It is a bit worrying to me sometimes just how much watching these two make Lego or read Pokemon magazines has become as addictive as a child watching Saturday morning cartoons.
Luke continues to have the best "Did you see that shit?" face I've ever seen XD
Oh no, she told Luke 😳
Don't hold onto that anger, Luke. You have to learn to Lego.
That was terrible. Boo!
WELL DONE!
Nice! 😂
This is a fantastic show of the weekend episode! Ellen I can't believe you told Luke!🤣🤣🤣
The look on Luke's face upon hearing Ellen' s Lego land trip was an absolute betrayal on the fact that he didn't go over there 😂
The betrayal of finding out your friends went to Lego Land without you. I feel your pain Luke 😥
The betrayal in Lukes' face! Well, at least it is out in the open now
Which moment? 😅 he also looked betrayed when his car lost a couple of bits at the end 😂🤣😂🤣
@@oxfanblink4115 When Ellen let slips she was at Legoland
Go Speed Racer. Go Speed Racer. Go Speed Racer Go!
The McLaren gave off some subtle Mach 5 vibes for sure.
This ranks up there along with capturing Ellen having deja vu on camera. A genuine moment of a villain origin story. The realization in real time from both of them was so worth the 6 year wait
Luke's struggle is real, hard to give up a car you can build no matter how good the content will be
yay for speed building
I know that feeling.
One hell of a callback 😄
“Aqua dirt” is quite a fancy way of saying mud.
This was delightful in every way
12:05 Ellen's reaction here gives me life
I actually went back and watched a couple of old show of the weekends a few days ago, including the legoland one 😂. Also, it made me realise I kinda miss the reading comments, bloopers, and art corner at the end of the show of the weekends... maybe we could bring those back?
Tremendous from start to finish…fading out with Luke staring incredulously (and bitterly) into the camera made my week
SHE TOLD LUKE!!
This is the premium Lego content we all subscribe for!
I laughed like a goon on my train to work this morning with this episode 😂 I legit look forward to these every single week.
Show of the weekend genuinely gives me something to look forward to and helps me through a rough week. Thanks for putting out such great videos!
The betrayal on Luke face is at the top ten of the best betrayed reaction ever.
The absolute betrayal. All this time of keeping the secret. I think this was an even better reaction than the quiz with the Luigi's Mansion ghost pun names.
I know its been said many times over, but I love seeing you two making goofs on the sofa. Brings so much joy to my heart. Congrats again on 1mil! Deserve every single one, and many more!❤
ELLEN. We all kept the secret for you for YEARS, only to have you tell Luke yourself?! 😱
God bless whoever hired these two, they have best chemistry of any channel I’ve seen, period.
This episode was on point and full race to the goal, and as long time viewer seeing a payoff to an older plotline made it even better.
Dunno if Luke's and Ellen's reactions were scripted or improvised, but either way, *chef's kiss* 👩🍳👌
I have never laughed soooooo hard in all my life! The reveal..... the drama.... the total ackwardness.... and the totally hilarity of it all. More, more, more!!
Ellen always looks ready to burst out laughing 🤣
Happy 1 Million Subscribers! 💗💖💗
*WHEN IS THE MUSICAL EPISODE HAPPENING*
I joined after lockdown, Luke… and I have loved every minute since. ❤
3:05 the betrayal! 😧
Luke being genuinely angry about Legoland is SENDING ME!
Um yeah, it's Legoland. If my kid gets to go to Legoland without me, I would literally shrivel up and die.
Don’t tell Luke
OMG THE CALL BACK!!! Fully dead!
Seriously good.
The stifled laughter and almost silent apology make this, I felt so bad for luke, the betrayal is real, wanted to hate Ellen for a fraction of a second, obviously couldn't ❤
Gosh, these two are so adorable.
This makes me want to play legos with them. And I never want to play with legos. Lol
Ellen - “They left out a piece”
Luke - “This piece is made wrong”
Oh that Oxtra hubris! Have we not learned about throwing moonbeams at glass ceilings?
The betrayal! Finest episodes of Game of Thrones could only wish to have this level of treachery. Top level content.
I did not expect an actual lore continuation in Show of The Weekend YEARS later after the whole bit but there ya go 🤣
luke's face upon finding out ellen went to legoland ages ago and only just told him was just perfection
Almost 6 years without telling Luke. Still impressed
I just love how these episodes feed your inner child
Ellen there was only ONE RULE!!!
Watched this again and cackled as heartedly, amazing tonic. Bless your Lego traumatised soul, Luke. Also, enjoyed Jon's parenting from behind the camera. Very fun SotW. Congratulations on the million subscribers! 💜
My god the Legoland bit. Such a long rnnng joke. Brilliant!
I love the Lego games and never heard of this Lego racer game so thanks for the recommendation in such a fun way.
No matter the topic for show of the weekend, I'm here. Nest week a review of the best thickness for a piece of paper. I wont even question it.
This was so funny 🤣 Ellen and Luke have such great chemistry
Ending was *chef's kiss*!
12:01 The pure dissatisfaction of Luke's expression at the end... Marvellous.
I love this channel so much ❤
Dont ever stop I love this stuff!! In my free time I love to watch you guys! Its like a great Slice of life anime, every episode!
I can sympathize somewhat with Ellen's fear of losing a Lego... I made the Typewriter and needed to order a few pieces that were, sadly, forgotten in the build I got. It didn't cost me anything, however! Lego is fantastic when it comes to sending a couple dozen pieces, no questions asked.
Congratulations on your ... One Million subscribers.... ( How many people read that in Dr. Evil's voice? Lol. ).
Lmao I love Luke's indignation 😂
Ellen getting caught is just the cutest thing since puppies were invented!
I guess the time difference, is down to the skills you pick up at legoland
Oh no, the drama! Who needs a thriller when they can just watch this episode! :D
After all this time keeping Legoland trip from Luke and Ellen slipping up now had me in a fit😂
3:27 Shortest SotWE ever! Oh wait, there's more? Woo!
