How cruel... Forcing Patrick to be 76% serious for so long.
You could see the pain in his eyes!
Oh c'mon - 62.86% at the most...
And as usual Paddy did an amazingly beautiful job on the cabinetry. Another 1st class bit of manufacture.
🤣
I think you somewhat overstated his level of seriousness. Max 51%, 22% of the time...
All hail Patrick, our new Overlord!
hail
Hail!
HAIL PATRICK
Hallo Patrick
*kisses signet ring
In the past, when Leo goes to England, the work and filming have been put on hold. Good to see Shipwright Patrick at the helm for an episode. Rock on.
Patrick seems like one of the nicest blokes you could ever meet 😎👍
He really does, seems like a great person to hang out with.
Patricks are pretty cool dudes. They're usually EXTREMELY handsome and super humble with giant muscles.
@@SmokkedandslammedI wonder what your name is? 🤔🤣
@@richierich19245His name is Fred he’s just in to Patricks
Really nice guy, not the greatest smelling. But really nice.
Patrick has gotten really good at woodworking. He was quite a greenhorn when he started helping. I think he's longest current helper now .
Yeah, watching him develop over the years has been great. I'm so happy he's stuck on with Leo for the long term.
Agreed!
Anyone else cheering the growth Patty has evidenced? Great Job, Patty!
He grew a whole three inches this year, believe it or not! And you should see his muscles!
He has a channel at @patrickkingshill2133
Typo, it's paddy.
Besides woodworking, Patrick is accomplished at describing complex ideas on camera in clear, straightforward language. That is a skill you don't see every day.
I can't help but think he'd be an amazing teacher.
Hi Leo in1993 myself and 3 other guys built a 2masted schooner at Tough,s boat yard Teddington lock London BADGER D watching u and the team build TALLY HO brings back wonderfull memories I'm 88 yrs old now I now wonder where BADGER D is now LEO u and your team what an excellent job your doing
It is so fantastic to see how Patrick has gone from making dowel's to create these kitchen cupboards, at a Leo approved standard (I assume). Great work Patrick.
As a woodworker, I can really appreciate the cabinet work expertly done by Patrick! 👍👍
Expertly done. Did you not notice the inconsistant wood grain direction of the cabinets? Knobs are uneven and the finish is full of air bubbles.
Patrick, your enthusiasm alone makes these videos so much better, but just seeing you blossom into a real honest to goodness carpenter has been astonishing. I'm a little jealous how you've taken this apprenticeship and ran with it.
We need more sprinkle fades lol.
Proper pink and sparkly fairy dust at that!
I was fully expecting the rest of the episode to be exclusively silly transitions after patty asked for the sprinkle fade
Man i duno what ill do when its sailing. Just hope Leo goes back to u.k. , does fastnet 27 100yrs later, then opens a boat shop in u.k. that way we get decades of Leos craftsmanship
Wins the race!
Patrick should get his own spin-off show, focused on his pottery
He has a youtube channel, not very active but interesting. @patrickkingshill2133
I think we need a Duchess of Desire miniseries.
Patty makes Potts
@@andiusrex Iggy Pop's BBC 6 Music show the other week included 'Bee Bee Sea' in the blurb. That's flattering imitation.
I would NOT be surprised if that happened in the near future....
While Paddy may not be the door maker in all of the land, I wanna see who critics his absolutely AMAZING talent! Perfection. As is expected and consistently done by the entire crew. Leo, you're truly making a work of art that entire sailing community will admire, deeply, for a VERY LONG TIME!!! Such a great crew. Glad you are back safely. Hope your family and friends are all doing well. Love bonus videos!!
Thanks Leo for bringing us along.. appreciate all your doing
You're
All hail Patrick, the merciful keeper of the camera!
Paddy's narration skills are almost there! His woodworking, however, is exemplary, totally on point... Great to see the personal growth from the team.. 😜 ❤
I really appreciate the detail and extreme craftsmanship you and the crew are putting into Tally Ho
That rounded corner post looks so perfect.
Anyone else surprised to see all the bubbles & imperfections in the varnish on the cabinet faces? Everything else on the boat is absolutely flawless boat jewelry, yet those door finishes look like something I probably wouldn't accept on my own boat
First thing I noticed!
Glad to see you brought it up. I was sure thinking that. Cann't tell but it looked like Possible silicone contamination and fish eyes or dust? Should be able to just redo the outside that shows. Iam sure they are planning to do it. It's a heart breaker when you work so hard and that happens on the last coat. Now waiting for it to cure more before sanding it out.
@@charliecruzen3394 yeah for sure doesn't look like it'll be difficult to fix, a bit of sanding and another coat or two and it'll look great, I'm just very surprised that it even got installed with the finish like that.
I imagine for the sake of the video they went ahead and installed them, but will no doubt be off again to get the finish fixed!
This might be way over the top but: in this time of war and terror you keep on making a piece of art. And I am grateful for that. THX all of you!
Patrick you have come a long ways, amigo.
The round corner on the hanging locker was a cool touch. Well done.
I think that Tally Ho going to be one of the most beautiful boats inside and out ever…all down to a brilliant and entertaining group of people ever cheers Roly🇬🇧.PS I am surprised at the low number of thumbs up there are compared to the of views.
Dear rolanddunk
Yeah, I wondered about this too. It's kind of odd. I don't know why because the hanging locker is a piece of artwork showing best craftsmanship like everything on/in Tally Ho.
Best regards, luck and health in particular.
All across CZcams on average likes are around 10 % of all the views
There appears to be a bug at CZcams. Every single video I look at over the past few days has shown "9" likes. With 10s of thousands of views. It simply isn't possible
Dear @@WhatAboutTheBee
Or maybe even another trick so that they have to pay less to the creators!? Best regards, luck and health in particular.

Patrick the sprinkle fade GOAT.
Patty did a marvelous job indeed !! ThX for Sharing!
Nice Job Patrick. See it's harder to describe work than it is to actually do it. Watching this group of Craftsman like you all is a real pleasure. Thanks! Hope Leo enjoyed his family visit and hope the rain hasn't hampered your work.
The ability to describe the process takes one from journeyman to master
Tally Ho is the greatest boat building project ever on CZcams!
Yep, because it is a complete new build. There is nothing left from the original.
@@robertharris7027, true that....
@@robertharris7027Part of the Transom, the keel lead and some hardware were reused, but other than that she was a rotten girl.
@@robertharris7027 I think some of the original teak wood has been incorporated in the build.
Interest from her construction funding her construction, it feels like Tally Ho! is willing herself thru rebirth
An huge thankyou to Patrick and the gang (slithering around in the background), for giving us all, a continuity of transmissions!! Thanks Kiddos!!!
Good call on the sprinkle fade Patrick 🎉
Outstanding Patrick! Exceptional journery.
Great fun watching the kids "play" while Dad is gone. Highly entertaining. Patrick is a natural. 🙂
A star is born
Patty, you never cease to amaze me with your wood working skills. And now you are acting.
As his Nonnie once said, “What can’t he do?”
I was sat on the loo on Sunday night watching this episode and laughing my head off…. My wife was in the bedroom and wondered what on earth I was laughing at!!!. Paddy’s comical narration accompanied by the lift (elevator) music was sublime. Love it!
Thank you for your weekly uploads I look forward to them
Great job, Patty, on both making and talking about the cabinet build!!
Sorry for saying this. Usually, the standard of everyt here is second to none. But on this episode, gentlemen, standards have slipped.
The varnished doors are covered in birds' eyes, the two rh side ones. Get some paint stripper and steel wool, whip it off, and start again. If left, it will be the area that everyone will see and comment on.
For a man who referred to the bow as the pointy end and the stern the, Blunt flat bit at the back, he has come along satisfactorily.
Satisfactorily my arse, his workmanship is good as anyone else's.
A very hard won skill indeed.
Patrick! No pressure, dude. :-) ha ha ha!
. . . and . . . thank you for showing us your woodworking mastery! Love it!
Great job taking over and those cabinets look great looking forward to next week.
Patrick is a natural.
As always, love the videos.! Im so happy for the progress and quality of the work, its art! Well done !
Very lucky to have a bonus video, just what I needed. Bless you all for the great work you are all doing!
Very nice Patty. Exceptional quality and workmanship. and good for a laugh.
Great episode Patrick! I am continuously impressed with the incredible craftsmanship you and the whole team display. The cabinetry would be at home in any fine kitchen afloat, in the air or any fine home!
Thanks alot for this extra episode, really enjoyed it😊
Great episode. Nice work, Patrick (and everyone else!). The Galley looks excellent.
Good JOB, WELL DONE!
Beautiful work as always!
I love Patrick. He really cracks me up.
Me too.
Hi Nick! We see you too :)
As usual guys you knocked it out the park well done all of you Kind Regards from Liverpool England.
Very nice episode. Felt fresh, you bring amazing energy Patrick and I love your humor. Hope to see more of these takeovers!
Sprinkle fade was the best part. .pretty great. Patrick is a wiz, a born cinematographer.
A truely amazing and talented crew . Friendships that last a lifetime .
You should do this more often.
Great video.
Thanks for the bonus video and thanks Patrick for your wit and enthusiasm.
Truly AMAZING work! Patty & David!!
Very good vid, a great surprise to see a Tally Ho vid this week but it is appreciated and entertaining. .......aaaaand fade to sprinkle....CUT! That's a wrap.
the only thing that I don't like is, that the door of the left most cabinet the grain is horizontal and on all other doors vertical.
And now you are welcome to see that all the time as well 😅
You bastard...
Patrick, You have, over the years, become an extraordinary craftsman. Bravo and thanks, also, for your rib-tickling and delightful humor.
On videos like this, its always visible how much fun you have while building tally ho. thanks for a great Video
Tremendo trabajo Leo, Saludos.
I can’t even imagine that awesome crew going each their own ways once the boat is finished… I think some of the guys have probably learned a lot in the process, too, and could well start their own boat building channel. Always great vids, entertainment and craftsmanship!
I would've thought they would've started their own company, building luxury wooden boats for rich people...
@@piccalillipit9211it takes a village. Port Townsend already had the wooden boatbuilding school and an ecosystem of businesses that made this project successful. I'm sure this project will strengthen that ecosystem plus a new business model that an interesting project can be funded by generating interest and entertainment. Tally Ho! would not be the gold platter she is today with only Leo's savings.
My gut is telling me that Patrick will sail the seas with Leo .....at least for a little while
@@piccalillipit9211 I don’t know if rich people are their thing. Then again one has to eat… Maybe a bit of building, a bit of sailing… I hope the saga will continue after they finished Tally Ho!
what would a ship of that quality and craftmanship cost 5 million ...more . less @@MajorWolf72
beautiful work!
Beautiful job Patrick and great narrating as well!😊
Patty is my favorite crew member although our great too
You guys look like you have so much fun together. It's great to see.
Really nice Patrick and team! You all do such great work.
I think the biggest question is how big the planing foils and wing sail that Patrick will instal with Leo away will end up being?
@benanddadmechanical6573 - Comment of the year!
When Leo's away, Paddy can play, and he does
Well done Patrick and team - great galley work and editing of this episode! Cant wait to see the stepped mast..
Beautiful work, as always! =)
It's the episode of Home Improvement when Al hosts the show instead of Tim
The cabinets in the galley is beautiful ... Patty you are a master cabinet maker ... Tally Ho is so special of a sailboat ... so much history and all of you who have worked on her should be recognized for it on a large picture mounted in the ship to be seen by all who sail on her ... all of you are so special ... ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊....
bloody top video... thx Patrick. you're the best tradie on the project. Love from down under!!! Australia
Only thing Patrick needs to be a serious cabinet door maker is a layer of black chipped fingernail polish!
I think if ever somehow I were to meet Patrick I'd greet him by saying, "What's up, Sparkle Fade?" (accompanied by that sound and the hand gesture with my fingers)
Thanks Patrick - beautiful work from you and the crew.
Patrick - That was a super cool method of creating that round. Marking off the tangent lines and planing down to them. I learned something today! Thanks!
Can I have a ride in the boat while Leo's gone?
Bravo, Patty! Spectacular job on those lockers! Don't worry, once you get a hundred or so videos under your belt, it should be more comfortable in front of the camera. 😁
Outstanding craftsmanship my god I don’t think anyone could’ve done such an amazing job as Patrick bravo.
Hello! Is this The Krusty Krab?
NO, THIS IS PATRICK
All hail Patrick
God I love this video.
Always look forward to this time at the end of the week when I enjoy the watching this group perform magic.
Lovely work!
Fly home Leo.....Paddy will manage it! Greetings from the Normandy france! S/V Moana
Let's go Patrick!
Wonderful craftsmanship, Patrick!
Every time I watch one of these videos I am amazed at the craftsmanship, and always am left laughing. I look forward to them. Great job!
Everyone seems to have great chemistry together, but Patrick to me is the heart of the show. I hope he gets his own YT channel someday!
Nice work Patrick☺ Are you going to make a back splash to prevent things from sliding in behind the countertop?
Good work Patrick ! Good presentation and lovely craftsmanship
Awesome work guys. 👍
As much as I love the work, the finish on those cabinets hurts my soul.. lol I'm an autobody guy, and the bubbles/dirt showint just kills me..
I was thinking the same, it needs a good sand back and re finishing, I bet it's grinding Leo's gears.
@@SonjaBruenzels looks to me like it got dirt or dust on it at some point of applying the varnish.. I honestly don't see it being left as is..
lil dissapointed in those cabs, looked like they could've used some better sanding to get rid of all the bubbles/imperfections and then maybe a coat of satin or more sanding and gloss. if ur going to do it right, do it right. This is like a turd on top of a birthday cake
