@@bridgetjones5695 sadly when i was about to send off for it i tested positive for covid and it had to be cancelled but i shall go for another one in due time, things should be better now i am fully vaccinated
@@bridgetjones5695 also dont worry about actually doing one its a piece of cake some kits will vary mine was just a sample tube and scoop (standard blue biology sample from gp) so bare that in mind

Thanks for your comments and to everyone else who has done so. The reason I made this video was the bowl cancer screening service sent instructions with their kit that were not thought out. I looked on CZcams and all the tutorials required particular equipment or had a commercial agenda. Using the kit they sent to me one had to take three samples on consecutive days and place them on sealable windows mounted on a card. I thought there must be an easier, less stressful way to do this. I perfected my system on the third day. Rang the screening service to suggest they use my method, make their own tutorial video and include a link on the instruction leaflet. They were not at all interested and said they have DVD's. (there is no DVD in the kit, and you can't play one on a smart phone. Still at least they have moved on from Betamax and VHF tape! ). I suggested they send me another kit, I will upload a video that they can then copy and produce a more professional one. They refused to do this so I made this tutorial and put it out in the hope that people find it helpful. They have now made things easier as only one sample is required and it can be left on the collection stick which is inserts into a plastic tube. Good luck to you and everyone. Hugo

@@mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm435 im all good now! 2 months on. it wasnt that bad and luckily my test came back negative for anything nasty. ive now seen a physiotherapist and hes said i have problems with cartilage in my chest which can cause pain elsewhere. thats why docs had me do this test to begin with. it should all get better with time.
A simpler way is just to grab some toilet paper in your hand and try and catch some of the poop on its way down. You only a small amount of it on the paper for a sample.
Why are you so stupid to even ask that question. It’s educational like as if everyone knows best way to do this. Some people don’t have clue this actually helped them 🙄.
