    Thank you for providing a real sample rather than a caricature version after all we are all adults here.

    My doctors office provided no instructions on how to collect the sample whatsoever. I had to go to CZcams to figure it out.

    From what I saw in another video: blood is usually on the outside of your stool, so it's important that you swipe the picker on the outside of the stool in order to collect any potential blood.

    Thanks for this video. The instructions aren't quite crystal clear when it comes to poo collection. It says to move stick along the surface of poo. I'm thinking, how can you fill two whole then, The stick would have to go into the poo.
    The demonstration makes it clearer in how to use the stick, what angle etc.
    Yep, got to do mine tomorrow so, I don't want to mess up the process.

    I have 2 test tubes with the stick. So im assuming they want the poo in the blue test bottles? Well too bad they dont explain it well in the paperwork.

    When I received my pack there was a green coloured plastic bag containing the stick and the collection device and this was all in a sealed plastic bag I'm not sure whether the sealed green bag is to be placed in the colorless bag to be returned to the GP. None of the videos explain this

    The fit test makes sense, but it doesn't make as much money.

    Why were you not wearing gloves?!

    • @srae7658
      @srae7658 Před rokem

      Do you wear gloves when you wipe your bum after a poo? Sometimes we get poo on our fingers occasionally when we wipe and it's fine. That's why we are supposed to wash our hands with soap and warm water for 20 seconds; its to get poo and bacteria off. If this were someone else's poo, then definitely gloves are required, but if it was the person in the video's poo, then it's not necessary.
