Goa really surprised us, a lot of people told us that it was a place we should miss off our list when visiting India becuase of the limited time we had there, but we decided to go anyway. We ended up spending 3 days travelling around the best spots across South Goa, exploring the local beaches, ate at the bests restaurants and visited an area that transported us back to Portugal.
Much of what we really opened our eyes to how diverse the landscapes of India truly are. The north was famous for its fresh air and snow capped mountains, the middle states for the vast Mughal era architectural marvels but as you travel south, the tropical vibes start to hit and that’s what we start to explore in this video.

My wife and I met in Cartegena, Colombia, and Galle reminded us so much of there

Really surprised that people advised you to not visit Goa. If someone has been here, I think they will recommend it over the Golden Triangle route, especially for people of South Asia origin as they won't be new to the Architecture & food in general.

Brother goa is surrounded by western ghat u need to go to east side to view real beauty ( waterfalls, spice plantation n so on ) west side u only find beaches

I have a question. Why do most people from Western countries like USA, Europe, etc. mostly visit Golden triangle (Delhi, Agra, Jaipur) and sometimes Mumbai?
I think golden triangle are the worst places in India to visit. It's very crowded and chaotic. On the other hand, places like Goa, Kerala, Puducherry, Shimla, Gangtok, etc. which are definitely better but visited by few tourists from those countries. I saw your video and I think yes golden triangle is overrated.
