    Thanks for a wonderful introduction to the world of yoga. I'm 53 and after many years of painful stiff hips and lower back pain, many doctors visits and painkillers later, doing your yoga session everyday for 6 weeks has been like a miracle cure. I can't believe how much stronger, and more flexible and stable I feel and the pain has all but gone. And even more, the relaxation is a bonus at the end of a busy day at work. Many, many thanks. You have given me back my youth.

    I'm 67 with a hip replacement. I have always exercised and I teach water aerobics. This is my favorite holy grail workout on Sunday mornings for my hips and back. It has enabled me forestall surgery on the other hip for now. It's gentle and always opens my hip joint and lower back. When I have time, I do the longer version. Thanks.

    Over the past five years or so, I've thrown out my back around three times a year doing routine things. Within the last year, I have experienced sciatic nerve pain about once a month, lasting the better part of a week each time. I lift weights regularly and love distance running, and the nagging pain from my lower back down to my hamstring not only impacted my ability to exercise, but - I realize now - was something I'd come to expect as 'normal'. Each time I bent down, I had an expectation in the back of my mind that my back could seize up. This is not normal. A friend of mine shared this video with me. I've done this routine once a day for a week - ONE WEEK - and already there is such a noticeable difference in my body I can hardly believe it. I no longer feel like my back could go out; I can sleep; my stride has lengthened so my running is faster and more efficient; and I'm performing these exercises better today than I was when I began. All this in ONE WEEK. I can't wait to see how I feel over time as I incorporate this into my daily schedule! Thank you, David, this has improved my quality of life.

    Thank you for your quality video. I appreciate the time delay between when your voice over describes the upcoming move and when you do it in the video. It is just spot on for timing. I didn't ever feel like I had to rush to look up to see what was to come. It made for a great flow.

    david i need to thank u. it all started 6 months ago from a injury in the gym. which i found out i have a pelvic tilt (bad). for months i have had pain in lower back and hips. basically every day i start getting sore and tight by 3pm. by bed time my hips hurt so much i can hardley sit.
    found these videos and started doing them 3-5x a week. cant even begin to discribe how much they help. if i do this 2x in a row i have zero pain or tightness for days....

    I'm glad I found your video. I've been to see bone specialist, therapist with hip pain and didn't get anywhere until I try your video. It helps release the pain from my back, hip and legs. Now I don't feel those pain but when I do I know where to go.

    This is by far the best lower back stretch I'm come across on you tube. This is very gentle and the visualization at the end is miraculous. A lot of the videos out there which say they are for lower back are not always appropriate but this video this is perfect and David really understands the connection of the lower back and the pelvic floor. Thank you so much. David you know you really know your stuff. You are an amazing teacher and practitioner. Thank you for sharing this for everyone for free. It is no fun being in pain but this video really helps as one form of relief among others.

    I have done yoga for about ten years with many different teachers and on many CZcams channels at home. None have gotten at my problem areas (hips, back, sciatica) like this workout and David’s linger version of this. Really amazing how much better I feel. I do this routine several times a week now.     haven't done any real exercise or stretching since a botched appendectomy about 6 years ago destroyed my stomach muscles. been having serious lower back pain ever since- this hurt but it felt like it's really going to help. I plan to do this 5 times a week! thanks so much and watch this space!

    Please come to Melbourne, Australia. Thank you so much for this. I have had issues with my whole yoga practice because of some fundamental issue that I couldn't put my finger on. It was causing me huge amounts of pain all day that no physio could fix. Your videos have made me finally realise exactly what I was doing wrong. In two sessions my body has gone from dysfunctional to completely released and my body feels as though it could continuously extend.

    Wow, I've been doing this for about a week now. I cannot recommend this enough. For the first time in my life I have been able to do the 1/2 lotus. This was something I thought I just would never be able to do. I'm going to persevere and am aiming for the full lotus. Thank you David. This has worked like no other programme!

    Sure. On our site, if you go to the yoga classes section we have a class called Yoga Therapy for the Neck and Feet. That might help. It also helps sitting on your heals, or if you can't, sit on a folded blanket between your heals so the tops of your feet start stretching out.

    This sequence is helping relieve my hip pain and stiffness in my thighs, though I've been taking it a little slower and holding some poses longer. Yeah, his arms are much longer than mine and he's of course more flexible, so I've been using straps and trying to be patient with myself. Great video--I definitely will check out his others!

    this and your longer one is absolutley fantastic for me!! its just what i need to help loosen my hips and hamstrings......as a runner i now do these 3/4 days a week and have found everything improving....no pain in my hop flexors, and better form out on the road. i really appreciate you up loading this! wish i had of found them a year ago though!!!

    really nice! Real Hatha Yoga isn't a flow, Traditional Hatha Yoga is all about holding just few Asanas for longer time, practicing to perfection, deep relaxation and connection between body and mind. This is absolutely different to new Yoga styles like Ashtanga, Vinyasa etc.

    This was a power-packed 27 minutes in that the poses and stretches were realllllly effective and it felt like my body did a longer practice. I have never done your videos before, I will definitely be looking for more of your work. I found this practice to be creatively put together. I am adding it to my favorites.

    Thank you for this. I've been having all sorts of problems in the right side of my body; knee pain, ball in the arch of my foot, stiff shoulder. Finally realizing my hips are very tight, especially the right hip. This exercise is a big help, thanks again.

    This is a very helpful sequence of movements with clear descriptions. I have come back to it several times and my back has improved. My only criticism is the music, which for me was a bit like a niggling toothache and I found it distracting.

    Recently started powerlifting and working through tight hips, hamstrings and low back issues.. will be practicing this one after my training sessions I think!!
