    Would love to see a revival today. The jackpot could start at $10,000 but all the rules stay the same

    They were still using the Sony ECM-53s here, replaced sometime during the Summer of this year.

      The black microphones that replaced them around Fall 1988 were AKG C460 or C480s.

    @Mr. Adam Curry, yes, in March 1988, this "Scrabble" game show had Mr. Charles "Chuck" H. Woolery as its former host just as his previous studio announcer there was late Mr. Arthur W. Ferguson [though professionally known as "Charlie Tuna"]!

    Chuck Woolery has hosted 3 gameshows that involve choosing letters to guess something; "Wheel of Fortune," "Scrabble," and "Lingo."

    Considering this show filmed in the same studio as Wheel, I wonder if Chuck had nightmares on taping day thinking "what CPULD have been if I hadn't been so greedy about my salary"

      It Aired on NBC From 1984 to 1990 and 1993.

    Scrabble was fun to watch, especially this best known version. The straggle version was awful
