      It’s doable but you’d have to get at least two off the clue and the other two pretty quick.

      ​@devansafer4251 There was one lady before her who had won $35,000. I forgot her name, however. But this was a few weeks before or after Jacqui.

    When the new format began in the $100,000 all-American Tournament, then in December 29, 1986 the new Bonus Sprint was established.

    John Heamer I believe, going from 35 year old memory, won four words in nine seconds to win the $50K in the May 1986 TofC.

    I think it was much harder to defend your championship in this era of the show having to win the crossword 5 times and winning the sprint 5 times not easy to do

    She was I believe the biggest winner of the Bonus Sprint era of the show. Yvonne Eubank(sp?) won all five bonus Sprints in April 1987 and $35,500.

      Lorri Levin also retired undefeated as well. I think Bob Bradbury was one of the few males to retire undefeated, with $27,000. One uploader once put Lisa Turner on Scrabble in 1987. One commenter said Lisa Turner also retired undefeated too.

      @@richardhernandez4490 Lisa's family by marriage was Pakistani, I believe. Jacquie Culkin retired with almost $40K, and the is the highest known winner in the Bonus Sprint era of the show.

      At the end of the August 21, 1989, episode, which originally aired 💨 on NBC Daytime at 10 am Eastern, of course, Aaron. And furthermore, it's spelled original _Scrabble_ contestant Jacqui Calkin (but not Caulkin) won 🏆 $38,000. LOL 😆!

      She would of had $43,000 if ALCOHOL word would of say the A in the beginning of the 7 letter word she would become the highest winner in the sprint round.

    Adam, this August 21, 1989, episode of the original _Scrabble_ was rerun six years later on USA 🇺🇸 Network October 2, 1995, at 3:30 🕞 pm Eastern. And furthermore, the jackpot 🎰 at the bonus sprint was $6,000, not $8,000 under the description of this video 📼. LOL 😆!
