  • In the video, we compare the Garmine Livescope LVS32 and Livescope Plus LVS34 transducers to see which gives more clarity when searching for fish. We also test both transducers on the Garmin Echomap 93SV UHD 2 and Garmin GPSMAP 1042XSV.

    I've had the LVS32 for a few years and was running the 93sv with it, but I upgraded to the GPS Maps 1242 last year. My old eyes needed the bigger screen. I also switched to a 14.8v NMC Lithium battery that's dedicated to the LiveScope package and screen only. WOW, what a difference that made. Garmin units love good clean power and the new battery charges up to 16.7v. I can see pretty good out to about 55 foot and if a school of fish or a brush pile is beyond that, I can certainly see it well enough to move closer to investigate. I've ran my unit side by side with other anglers units and they're amazed at how clear my picture is on the screen. Of course, you still have to tweak the settings on any unit, but I'm plenty pleased with the LVS32. Who knows, I may have to give the LVS34 a try in the near future. But, we do a lot of sniping out to 30 and 40 foot and put plenty of fish in the boat. My biggest suggestion is to get the 14.8v NMC battery and isolate that power to the LiveScope package and screen only. You will notice a tremendous difference.

    I’ve had two scopes for 6 years. The difference between the 34 and 32 is almost not noticeable . I would suggest getting a big screen and the 32.

      When I run two screens, I keep one at 100 and the other at 40 and will drop it down if need be

      A Big screen and the 32 will put plenty of crappie in the boat. Tight lines!🎣

      @@bakervinci163 do you get any interference with running two in the same direction? I've tried running two at the same time (forward and perspective modes) but get a "pulse" interference on the screen

    Not considering cost is the 32 better (close in) at 20’ forward distance than the 34? Appreciate yourvideos.

    Reeds has a bundle package going I was thinking about getting. Its ultra 106 with a lvs34 transducer and a lithium battery. Any thoughts on that? I subscribed after this video good comparison

    I have the Echomap Plus 70/90 LiveScope Panoptix LVS32. Is it worth purchasing the LVS34 transducer? I mainly fish the river and the area lakes around Hudson/Stillwater so nothing real deep. I believe Scheels gets around $1200 for it.

    • @FloppingCrappie
      @FloppingCrappie  Před 5 měsíci

      The lvs34 will clearer at further distances, but the lvs32 you have with your echomap should be more than enough when fishing around that area.

    Do you think you’ll have the opportunity to review the XR transducer? It would be great to see it in action on your review

    • @FloppingCrappie
      @FloppingCrappie  Před 2 měsíci

      I haven't had a chance to use the xr transducer, but from what I've seen it was specifically made to target larger fish in deep (100+ft) water

    For a Kayaker that constantly moving, would the 32lvs be okay? 34lvs is $700 more. TIA

    I run the 1222 and the 34 on my boat, I borrowed a 32 from a friend and tried it and I could tell the difference in the two units.Another thing that helped me alot in clarity was using a Lithium battery.I use separate Lithium batteries on my 1222 screen and for the GLS10.

      Unfortunately, even the gen 2 echomaps don't have the Helm function. It would be a nice upgrade. I'm not sure how difficult it would be for Garmin to simply upgrade the software

I live near the dells and can either go to petenwell or lake onalaska. I caught quite a few in lake redstone before just wondering your thoughts cause you seem to be the master at this. also as far as bluegill and perch what you think.
