    Hey big fella love your vids, at the 16.40 mark you're talking about dipping your hat so they can't see your eyes, you're right on the mark, the reason they freak out if they see your eyes is that all preditors have eyes facing forwards as opposed to grass eaters that have their eyes on the sides, just my 2 cents ( scents ) lol.... 👍👍

    Great Video. To be outstanding in your field, you have to spend time out standing in your field. Nothing beats practice. Also some thought and self criticism helps. At the end of the day ask yourself, what worked well and what didn't. Learning to "observe" rather than just looking is another skill. Keep the videos coming.

      @jchunting  Před rokem

      Thanks a lot. The reason is archery clubs use yards in their ranges, don't know why, so my rangefinder, and sights are set for yards

    Cheers

    • @jchunting

    Hey mate I was wondering if you hunt on public land. Or do you have private property. I want to hunt on private property but I don’t have any land or family members to ask

    • @jchunting
      @jchunting  Před 2 lety

      Hey bud, I have a couple of private properties that I have hunting access on, but also hunt on a lot of public land. If you want to hunt private property, but don't want to go the route of paid hunting, it's really as simple as buying a box of beer, dressing decent, speaking politely, and knocking on doors, and don't forget to respect people's right to say no, not everyone agrees with hunting 👍

    • @rp4712
      @rp4712 Před 2 lety

      @@jchunting ah that’s wonderful advice. What parts of NSW are best for hunting goats and deer, or any National park recommendations for these species. Is it ok to simply walk upto a landowners house and introduce yourself?

    • @jchunting
      @jchunting  Před 2 lety

      @@rp4712 I'm in New Zealand, so I don't know anything about NSW. I don't see a problem with just walking up to a property owners house, just make sure you have that box of beer with ya 👍

    • @jchunting

      In this video they are just an off the shelf Victory RIP Gamer arrow from an archery store in Auckland Central, now I run a custom built Black Eagle Deep Impact arrow, made by Attitude Archery in West Auckland.
