I was curious to see if Heart of Depth matches up with Marechausee Hunter, so I did a comparison. NOTE: Marechaussee may be easier to build with CRITDMG circlet, while the HOP set need a CRITRATE circlet to get a good ratio, if the substats stinks.

mh has higher ceiling because of crit weapon, but hod is also cool, after using es, the charged atta gains 30% increase for 15 sec, since the cool down of neu es is like 7 sec this can be maintain indefinitely. So essentially 15 water dmg inc + 30 ca dmg inc = 45 dmg incr, but u need to make up for the crit rate that needs to be 75% above to be equal to mh crit rate.The crit dmg weapon like neu sig has quite a higher ceiling compared to hod, not to mention more hp for mh in general.

Hod is better if you have a crit rate weapon, my Neuvi does more damage than either of these two with hod

@@minaisloading That's the whole point -.- if you're using MH you're not building as much CR and allocating those stats somewhere else, if you use a CR weapon vs a prototype amber on Neuvi OF COURSE THE DAMAGE IS GONNA BE HIGHER!
have you thought that maybe with an equivalent CD weapon to your CR one on MH it would still be better?

this is tilting me a lil cuz its possible to get a 60/200 ratio with hod to make a good comparison. MH is better if ur artifacts are ass but I'm not giving up 15% more charge atk bonus and 15% hydro dmg for more crit rate when I'm already at 75/273
