I Think you use Shimenawa wrong that's why it is almost expired, Try to use Elemental skill Last and dont switch to fully achieve to use the 8seconds Buff bonus

Sure, you can use it that way, but you're also wasting the ULT duration of Yelan and XQ and the Nobless set buff if you use it before Arle's E-skill... and then waiting for 5 seconds.
BUT if we think further, the rotation can be used while the fight is advanced, and Arle already has some stacks of bond of life, so she can vape in the meantime until the bigbang comes.
But for the initial rotation opener, it is going to lose DPS for the 5 second wait time, while everything is up.
