Wieliczka Salt Mines, Krakow

The tour is one of Poland's largest tourist attractions with approx 1.5 million people visiting each year. The visit lasts around 3 hours and you are guided through the mine complex with a language appropriate guide. This 3 min video shows a little of what you can see as well as some of the salt crystals on display - many of which aren't mined at this mine but from other similar operations around Poland. When you see shots of the large chapel it is amazing to realise that the whole thing is carved from salt.
