This video will help explain the styling of NREMT questions, as well as, explaining different types of important information to improve test scores and help you pass the NREMT exam.
I took my test and knew the information and failed. 3 hours before testing I watched this and used all these techniques and aced it in under an hour! I wouldn’t be sitting at station right now if it weren’t for you. Everyone taking the test NEEDS to watch this!
Not certain about the points made but ,if anyone else trying to find out emt paramedic training online try Elumpa Paramedic Expert Alchemist (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my work buddy got cool success with it.
Passed! Like many say, I felt like I failed. But I had 70 ish questions so I heard that was a good thing so I wasn't to worried. I was awake at 3 am checking my score though that following Monday morning. Haha, but getting a job is hard in CA. Still have to find a job...
I love how you break each question down. I get anxious because of the limited amount of time I have during tests, as I feel I don't have enough time to thoroughly analyze each question as you did. Hopefully I can pace myself at a good rate during my next test, and still have enough time to analyze each question in detail the same way you explained in this video.
Thanks for posting this. The "you should" portion is saving me a lot of trouble. That's really the only area I got tripped up in, even knowing everything that is going on.
Great video. I finished medic school and failed registry 3 times. This video helped me realize what I did wrong. You should do a video on medic stuff and trauma
The information is very helpful it allows the students to understand the mind state needed to find the best answer very empowering I will be taking my test soon and will let you know how it goes thank you for your help🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
It is incredible to get some feedback data. The practice test does not provide any. Your video has improved my chances dramatically. Your detailed explanations of why answers are "wrong" are equal to if not greater than the value added generated by telling us what is "right" in these examples.Thank you. Your labor benefits others.
yay! this was helpful, I'm taking my test tomorrow. Its been over a month since my class finished, and it was an accelerated course. The paperwork took a long time to get put through so i signed up as soon as i could.
Not certain about the points made but ,if anyone else wants to uncover emt study questions try Debuncar Medic Study Aid (just google it ) ? Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my cousin got cool results with it.
I have never seen so many adults WHINE about something so ridiculous and so trivial in my life. Sure there is lip smacking. Honestly it sounds like he may have a cough drop or something in his mouth to keep from getting dry mouth while talking so much. It's really not that big of a deal. I mean honestly. The information is great and he's taking time to thoroughly explain everything. Great information. Y'all are so soft if you are so bothered by the smacking. Would not be happy to partner with y'all if you freak out over something like that lol relax. There so many more things that he could do that would actually be annoying or alarming. How about just be grateful and thankful he made a detailed audio to help understand and pass the test.
Wow, this video made it easier to interpret the question. This is the most helpful video I have watched in regards to the NREMT. I solute you sir, I am taking my test soon. Wish me luck, I am horrible at tests, I am so nervous! Hopefully all goes well.
I took my exam yesterday. Just found out that I passed! I watched this the night before and I don't know if I would of passed without it. And that's after failing the first time.
I took the NREMT-Paramedic Computer Adaptive Exam a year ago three times and failed it. Had to do a 48 Hr.Paramedic Refresher Course at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois this past November. I've been an Illinois Licensed EMT-Paramedic since 1991. Have only 3 more attempts remaining and if I don't pass within those attempts
Is there a site or list anywhere that lists all the hallmark signs and symptoms? that would be a fantastic idea and i would be super thankful if anyone had any
I'm taking my test Thursday, I'm terrified because I'm horrid at taking written test. Hopefully this video help, it has settled my nerves a bit. I will let you know how it goes!
Great video!! I'm sure someone has already pointed out: in the first question, the text says pulse is 50, but you say 150. Just a typo, but thought you would want to know!
I'm taking my test tomorrow and I have god awful testing anxiety, I've watched this 2 times now, so lets see if I pass. ill make an update when I get my results back :)
for anyone wondering - i passed my test with flying colors! this video definitely helped me understand the structure of the questions, and there’s a lovely little app called “EMT-BP” that i used to help as well!!
Question: On question #3... Don't we determine the LOC by asking the patient what is wrong? From this we can assess if the patient is able to understand/answer a question, it will also tell us how much air the patient is (or isn't) getting, e.g. with an asthma attack, in which the patient's attempt to speak gives us good information about the breathing effort..... Also, perhaps the trouble breathing is secondary to something more important that we can't see from out initial impression... for example a gunshot wound or severe trauma...? This is the exact question that is going to trip me up on the test!!! I was taught to enter the scene and ask the patient what is wrong (or why they called 911 today) in order to assess the LOC...... at least initially. Using the AVPU scale, wouldn't asking what's wrong be how we would determine "A"? This is the sort of thing that keeps me up at night!!!! TIA (thanks in advance, not transient ischemic attack!) LOL.
I agree with you asking tha question would take care of it . I’m hoping that they don’t have answer choices like that because that would trip me up as well.
So on the second question, B was the answer but I went with C. And here’s why the question doesn’t not state that I am in a rig. So am I to assume I’m in an ambulance when answering these.. or am I to assume I’m on a BLS rig?
Question 9, Carbon Monoxide Poisoning: This is not clear. Numerous sources and the EMT book state that the skin takes on a "Cherry Red" appearance. Not Cyanotic. This still leaves me unsure what the NREMT test will use as the answer.
Great video! Super helpful! No hate, but i can't get the sound of you swallowing your spit and constant lip smacking out of my head... it is so frequent... but for real thanks dude!
interesting points ,if anyone else wants to uncover emt study questions try Nadazma Paramedic Helper (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some interesting things about it and my colleague got excellent results with it.

yea for question 2 i ruled out c d those where the most simple to rule out
my retake is tomorrow, I feel like I know all the information it's just me overthinking the questions
I passed! thank you! 92 questions

I would have to repeat the entire Paramedic program all over again

Good information. If you smack one more time. Lol I could not get through the whole video. Smack ugh
Great video! Super helpful! No hate, but i can't get the sound of you swallowing your spit and constant lip smacking out of my head... it is so frequent... but for real thanks dude!
Really trying to absorb all this information but i gotta be honest it hard to focus in between the lip smacks every 5 seconds
interesting points ,if anyone else wants to uncover emt study questions try Nadazma Paramedic Helper (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some interesting things about it and my colleague got excellent results with it.
Great video but the smacking he does every two seconds drove me crazy. I couldn’t finish the video.
I agree!
Why would you bring that to my attention😂😂😂
Thank you this is very helpful, but please remember smacking your mouth into the audio does not make for a pleasing watch.
I came here to say this. haha It was really distracting
Extremely confusing
carbon monoxide poisoning doesn't present as cyanotic, the skin is actually deep cherry bright red, bad question
deep, cherry bright red skin sign is a very late sign of carbon monoxide poisoning. Not one you will see when first responding
Smack smack smack smack through the entire video. Thank goodness for the transcript. The constant smacking is annoying!!!
