Jesus isn't God though
I've been leading worship in church for almost 2 years. But all I have been is in the false kind of worship. I'm so sick of the devil, he have been robbing everything from me.
If anyone is reading this please pray for me. I want my worship to be true and only to the one true God.
It is only God who can change your heart. But you need to be hungering and thirsting for Him. It is futile to ask people to pray for your heart change. If you can't break through, fast and pray til you do. Wait on God and sacrifice all your own agendas. We have to die, relinquishing everything, in order to be born again, led by the Spirit of God.
Before then, your heart is closed. Only you can open it, with the Spirits help.
Give up your public "worship", because until your heart is submitted, you will only be drawing attention to yourself, stealing God's glory.
Thanks for this message. This will change my way in Church and outside Church. May the Father in Jesus name, through the Holy Spirit continue to bless you in delivering such liberating message.
Only a truly born-again believer will be a true worshipper (worshipping in spirit & truth).
When Christ encompasses you & fills you fully there's no way we can push Him out from our life.
Christ is not the centre of our life, He is the whole of our life.
For the deceived Christian (who presumes he/she is one), the flesh (his/her prayer, Bible reading, church attendance, missionary work, soul saving etc.) has replaced Christ.
The first sin in the universe was not murder or theft or hypocrisy or adultery or anything... It was the want of worship by Satan from others... That is how important worship is.. Amen

True. We don't hear sermons like this in most church buildings today. All we hear about are things to do with money and material things they call blessings. We need to be reminded of holiness, godliness, true worship, self-denial, loving God above all.

I was gonna ask about what does Paul mean when he says follow me as I follow Christ. 1 Cor 11:1 But then I learned that he says follow "my example" as I follow Christ. Greetings in Jesus , I have been looking at worship for many years now , & as Tozer said , WORSHIP IS THE LOST JEWEL OF THE CHURCH. We are created to worship . We must worship , God or mammon. the mark of the beast is worship of the world & its system.

Worship , so often used with a diminished meaning . I cringe when musicians say let's have time of worship. ?
you mean you wasn't worshipping when you arrived here , & you will switch off worship later on. ?
what do you mean . ?
it's an English word meaning to give worth/ reverence to something of worth. It barely bears any resemblance to the Hebrew word Shachah , to bow down, to fall flat on your face , to be humble . It is not an emotional response it is an act or our will.
This word Shachah is 3 hebrews letters Sheen , Chet & Hay, briefly sheen is a picture of teeth meaning to press down or consume, Chet , means a refuge a sanctuary , Hay means to with outstretched arms , pay attention, the numbers sheen =300 speaks of lamb sacrifice , Chet =8 , new beginning & hay =5 is grace. So to Worship to bow down to a superior being , pressed down , & in his sanctuary , protection & listening to God .. we see that at other times in scripture the word Shachah is there , when men bow to each other in respect. In Greek the word is Proscunio , to prostrate oneself , to kiss the hand .
I'm not saying this to prove how much I know, but to help others seek to understand , why we are created & what we worship God for. I believe it is so we can get into that place , where God can have perfect fellowship with us & share his heart with us & reveal his son Jesus to us that we might get a glimpse , a vision of our eternal future .
Praise is something else & music , I can get emotionally high on music , that's not worship to God.
Praise is helpful & essential for a Royal Priesthood & thanksgiving .. Worship is sacrifice, devotion , giving , sharing , living 24/7 for God .
The Bride must rise up in this dark & evil day , in all her beauty & her crown must have all it's jewels , Brethren , Song of Songs .She comes forth as the morning , fair as the moon, bright as the sun , Awesome / Terrible as an army with Banners .
