- Watch Piers Morgan rip into a man who caught tearing down Israeli hostage posters in Los Angeles.
Shehab Elrefai ripped down posters hung up just blocks away from the Holocaust Museum in LA.
He shockingly begins to laugh during the interview when Piers confronted him about why he tore down the posters.
“I got to be honest with you, I don’t really care about your subtle nuances or you thinking it’s all entertaining or you laughing,” Mr Morgan said.
Mr Elrefai highlights the number of deaths in Gaza as a result of the conflict before the TalkTV's Piers Morgan interrupted, saying those deaths had nothing to do with his actions in Los Angeles.
“What you are doing is shockingly insensitive and inappropriate and hurtful to the family members of those taken hostage, including many young children.”

I am pro-Palestine, but tearing down the posters of hostages is hateful towards the families of those missing their loved ones. Why is it so hard for people to grieve the loss of innocent human life despite their background? This guy does not represent the rest of us who want peace and freedom for the Palestinians and who care for the safety of the hostages too. He thinks he's doing us a service - he is not, he is in fact damaging any efforts towards peace and liberty for Palestinians by misrepresenting our cause.

If we are to empathize with photos of innocent Jewish hostages, which is humanely accurate, then where are the images of the countless Palestinian hostages that are being held in Israeli prisons. Or are Palestinian hostages not worthy of being displayed or empathized with? Yes, I call prisoners hostages because a lot of men that are being held captive in prison have been wrongfully detained and have not been given fair trials in the "so-called" Israeli "democracy." Even children have been taken into custody by Israel without even having valid charges against them. No, Hamas wanted to trade 1000 prisoners for ONE hostage. Each prisoner had gone through the court and was sentenced to prison for a crime. No one would accept that deal.

Although he shouldn't feel the need to take down posters of peoples missing family members, he does have a point. The posters are not there to actually find the people because if the IDF cant even get them back what makes you think people in LA will do anything about it? Those posters are basically a PR campaign to get people on the side of Israel. Still, I don't see myself taking down posters of missing children REGARDLESS, but make no mistake, those posters are not useful at all.

Yet, his own actions of tearing down the posters won't achieve anything either. What about the Palestinian hostages who have been held by Israel for years, more than 1,000 people, including children as well? Why don’t you talk about them, or do you claim blindness or that they are not human? You give importance to the Israeli hostages while more than 4,000 children die and many of them are wounded with broken bones, while the Israeli hostages are in In the hands of Hamas, they are safe, as we saw when they were released. This is if Israel leaves them alive with their violent bombing, because it does not care about them, and even killed some of them as a result of the bombing.
