You have got to post more of these. As an ssl I love listening to these while I play.
Which region?
Subtle flex I see!💪🏾😅
@@_majohn92 😂😂😂
Flex on my GC1 ass 🤣
You should be telling people how to be ssl not two people who aren’t ssl
this is such a good video to listen too while training. i was doing leths dribble map while watching and i think you guys covered alot of good topics
Glad to see collaboration between a lot of my favorite rp CZcamsrs; nice video!
Love this! You had so many questions Answerd and discussed that I’m always wondering as I play and train. Looking forward to more ❤❤❤
Hey, I just wanna tell you that I’ve been waiting for another podcast like this one.
I absolutely love these!
Would be awesome with more podcasts like these if possible.
Looking forward to listening to this tomorrow!
Love these types of podcast videos. Chuck it on in the background whilst playing and it's so nice just to have tips right there.
Listened to this while working out, this was awesome! Love the podcast style vid
You can still get workshop maps on epic. A little more involved but CZcams tutorials helped me and I'm computer illiterate.
Ace episode, great series. Keep them coming 👌
Listening to these podcasts whilst training in lethamyr rings is the way to go. Just started doing workshop training today.
Dude this podcast is the best, vibin so hard in free play!!!
I’m a gc and I still feel like a bot so I still watch coaching videos. Urs are pretty good
Great format guys - love the entrepreneurial spirit of all three of you! 🎉BRAVO
this content is way too good, pls don't stop doing videos from this kind
pls more its so nice listening to this and doing other things like cleaning or playing rocket league
This is sweet! Keep them coming!
Also, damn Thano! Who let evample take over your controls?? Your so clean!
Amazing post, loved it all the way through! Got such great tips from it :) I had never thought of the recovery time a demo could incur, I'll be jumping a lot less on them from now :p I also think that even if you do miss the demo because defender jumped and you didn't, you still created awkwardness for the defender and that is almost as good as a demo, arguably even better in some situations :) could scuff a whole counter attack
i needed this!!!
On your point about predictability in custom training, bakkesmod lets you limit boost and add random variance to the shot setups. I learned air dribbles/ceiling shots/flip resets using a basic air dribble setup pack for hours but unsurprisingly could never translate it into games. Then once I was relatively comfortable I turned on a bunch of variance including randomly mirroring the shots to create a bunch of different angles and awkward setups and even after only like the first couple weeks of using that pack to warm up I started to be able to actually setup the mechanics in game and use them relatively consistently (except flip resets lol). For me at least when I found the variance settings it kinda felt like actually finding a secret trick because I haven't heard anyone really talk about it before and the aerial car controI learned from grinding just this one pack with the variance helped me rank up from D3 to C2 in like a month and even spend a couple hours in C3. It feels like it gives me the best of freeplay's randomness and the training pack's focus and quickness of resetting attempts with limited boost. Just something for you to explore if you like.
Wayton? Noice
I’m not saying this to be some contentious edge-lord, but because I believe being honest makes this more substantial; I don’t always see eye to eye with your tutorials but I still watch all your content. Even if I don’t agree, I’m always looking for new information. That said, this formats are super enjoyable and I love having a bunch of different voices explaining their opinions on things regarding the game. I think educational content is very important and I’ve appreciated yours but these free form discussions are top notch.
truly amazing
In need these podcasts to survive lol
Really needs to be stated. Most people, no matter how much they practice, will be unable to play at ssl levels. There is some natural ability levels at play when you’re discussing anything with a really high skill ceiling. Everyone can get good enough mechanically to eventually have a lot of fun playing at a high level. At the very top you have natural talent and tons of practice merging. It’s no shade, some people are naturally gifted, others are just never going to have the reaction time or ability to read the game in real time fast enough to set up what they want to do in response. Don’t just focus on ranking up, focus on making fewer mistakes and smooth feeling to your play and the game is just fun regardless.
The basic i struggle frequently is judging the speed of the ball and air hit it for either a save or a shot or a clear. Specially off the walls and when it's bouncing high.
Thanks!
Makes sense. When lifting, after about an hour and x number of reps for each muscle group, extra work doesn't build muscle and just increases fatigue and recovery time...
Muscle memory - it would track that your hand muscles and brain muscle would function similarly. People sleep on the importance of recovering from fatigue and taking breaks. Huge call out there. 👍
i would have loved to see some insight on playing solo q VS playing in a party and tips to help play better with solo q tm8s, obviously in a party you guys have comms and can talk to each other the whole game, i struggle a lot with solo q tm8s just booming the ball back down filed as soon as they get it or doing the same when im setting up a dribble, in c3 as well smh
i think there should be a small podcast about why its said "your rank doesnt determine you" and/or why people get hardstuck and how to realize when your making those badhabits because i always see myself struggle with realizing when its bad and good because someone just tells me "you made it hard for yourself"
If you're still doing the giveaway for training people until GC I need help with all my mechanics and am new to diamond.
Im not allowed to get discord so this is my only chance to enter
As a fresh champ this is extremely extremely useful for me. I am in pretty much every thanovic stream and love listening to his tips. I will say being a game sense champ I do wish I had better mechs because I feel it would’ve been a little easier
I'm c3 with the worst mechs you have ever seen x) Teamplay is way better than mech for grinding to gc imo
@@MrLazer44but you need mechs to progress past GC. I have hit C3, was GC last season and now I’m just practicing mechs all the time
can we please take a look at a few people heavily based on mechanics like evample/breezi/hencovic etc i could go on forever but what do their recoveries mean and how incredibly awesome what they do is
You can still get workshop maps through bakkesmod on the epic games launcher. I watched a video and got it set up pretty quickly.
Part of the reason people think they are better in free play compared to matches is because there are no consequences for failing any given mechanic in free play. Without consequences there's no reason to focus on any given failed attempt. The whole purpose of free play is to learn through repeated failure. Whereas in ranked, failed mechanics can cost you goals, scoring chances, goals against etc.
Yeah I’m gc and I practice ground shooting and air shots very often
i feel like they need to add a randomness option to shots in custom packs, it would boost the efficienty of them
You three just wanna start a podcast or something? I'd listen
Epic players can also play rings with Lethamyr's map import file!
These would be great on Spotify 😈
Yes exactly
this rules. i barely work to improve and make many mistakes by overtraining too few things. also too many games to low training ratio. hope to escape the d2 hell soon, been in and out for like a year. 👍quality content boys.
I love these podcast vids, keep it up!
Another point I haven't heard anyone bring up about freeplay mechanics vs in game is that you have zero ping in freeplay, so everything feels smoother and more responsive. I feel like every pro can attest to playing on LAN feeling better than online.
you can actually play workshop maps in epic version you just need a bakkesmod plugin
How do you keep pressure in 2v2s and still make sure you're backpost for defense? Or at least in a good spot to shadow?
Can you do a update video to your settings camera and sensitivity?
I have rocket thru epic so i dont have access to the maps.. but recently i discovered bakkes mod can access them.. i use leths rings and obstacle course to help with aeril car control
yey man what decal is that by the way i love ur videos if u could tel me thanks
7:50minuites in, my reply. It's like the rank is the mechanics, strategy/technique etc and your division is how well you are at those specific things. For example, in plat, most know, Ariels, dribble, basic shots, recovery etc and those things you know is what you typically/generally qualifies you in/for that specific rank and the division is how well you've mastered them. Did this make sense to anyone else or just me? Lol
Thanovic? Noice
As a supersonic plat like this a lot
Super happy to be your friend.
Good pod. Hope this helps algo
im a new gen rl player and i can use workshop maps, you just have to use bakkes mods map installer
ranking up is like the dragon scroll from kung fu panda
Is it possible to upload these episodes to Apple Podcasts and/or Spotify
I can do ten perfect begginer half flips in a row. Have never attempted in game bc of not knowing situations
My peak shots are in games where I hit insane shots like cool redirects and hit a double reset in a private match where I was 1v1ing my friend
I also nearly hit a ceiling musty sidewall redirect in comp 1s
could u put these podcast on spotify or SoundCloud or something?
and just like that i rank up, ty (like fr i ranked up)
awesome
Spookovic Pilton
Yeah in the past few months I've seen sooooo many more demo's at champ than I used too
In my opinion (the way I practice) its better to practice a skill in free play and in games. Then lets say you are practicing air dribbles, you will get a more realistic setup and outplay compared to just doing it in training. (maybe get the basics of the mechanic in freeplay if you wish)
Wow Thanovic and my freeplay look exactly the same, other than the flip resets and ridiculous ball control. And anything else requiring skill.
There is a secret, it's called practice. Rocket league is all about reading bounces in a 3d playing field through a 2d plane, your monitor. The reason rocket league is so difficult for new players is because trajectory is extremely difficult to figure out without proper depth perception.
Once you hit a few hundred hours+ or so the bounce trajectory starts to become second nature it's all about misdirection.
wayton with his likelikelike😂
Do you do all of your editing?
for the !rankup tip requests,
why not stream the replays and advice as content
How much money does it cost to be in your program from gold to gc
There's a plugin for workshop maps on epic, I guess Wayton doesn't know about it.
put it on spotify, because console players can’t listen to it on here on the console so we have to use a phone with earphones in headphones while we play or have no game audio and use the phone sound. it’s literally a podcast please upload them
i’ll be as good as nexto before i ever learn how to aerial
hi sorry to waste your time but for some odd reason on the discord i am not able to verify as i am not receiving the dm from double counter. does anyone know how to fix this ?
you should bring grifflicious into one of these podcasts
Pls pls upload more of these, these are my favorite videos you post keep the good work sub to spookeluke
Thanovic and i have the same problem, Not bragging but i got air roll fully down around Plat3 and it got to the point that right now i air roll for everything even shots, Its really bad.. Thanks Spookluke we need more of these!!! Might i suggest Spotify?
P.s. is it just me or is the footage along with the audio a bit distracting and even a bit confusing if you forget their not talking about what we're seeing. My recommendation would be to maybe show footage of exactly or even slightly related/corralated examples of what they are discussing, if and when possible at least ya know. That way we stay more engaged and feelore immersed in the content and ultimately get the most or least more then we would other wise ya know? Well, awesome video either way yet again Luke, great job homie!!
Now that i think about it I feel like you do usually do that in videos like this. More so like training and you narrating but similar
the podcast is literally called "The Freeplay Podcast" . the footage is them in freeplay while they're talking
These packs and dribble drills, are they on PS4?
no, workshop maps arent on console
Does SpookLuke have a creator code?
What about people that just hit GC?
what decal is he using in the freeplay session?
Abtruse
Epic games has workshop maps
I know I might sound stupid but how would they know how to get a rank if they didn't even touch that rank themselves
You always say you improve ppl below GC but I’m GC and I want to improve. Do you still do that?
If ppl don't think dribbling is Flashy king rany and wolve make it look flashy
Hi spook I'm in your discord server but how do I DM you? I can't find you on the server
If you click on his profile on the right side bar it will say that you can message him? Hope this helps. 😊
@@gods_bigbrother9022 It's good I found it
Demo = Combo Breaker
I guess i have to wait to 2023 then
Wait is the coaching money?
Was listening to this while playing a tournament and our team won…coincidence? I THINK NOT!!!
I am a diamond with barely any mechanics and lots of game sense… guess I know what to work on…
Getting the idea grinding casual 1s is bad training lol
The One ULTIMATE mechanic to rank up is: "GET GOOD"
(Every *souls player knows that )
And the best strategy is: Score more. Get scored less
thanovics a freestyler? i thought he was a ranked grinder?
I can’t train to be better bc my phone doesn’t have service
The best advice is.... play 1s. :/
enjoyed the video but why the title, i clicked cuz i’m gc and tryna level up. Also aren’t none of you guys ssl?
Also, remember guys that this is a business: they’re not gonna give you meaningful coaching advice unless you pay $$$ for it…. Stop asking for advice unless you’re willing to pay for really beneficial advice
900th like
I'm response to the hated question "how to rank up"
Did you miss the several hundred hours of content on CZcams that teaches specifically how to rank up?
