The OFFICIAL Sparking Zero website has confirmed offline local multiplayer! Some stores like XBOX/Steam mention "Shared/Split Screen" so we don't know the exact details yet. It could be like Xenoverse 2/Jump Force where it's a basic shared screen with a fixed camera or split screen like the original games. We'll see when more info drops! THIS GAME IS GONNA BE PEAK WHEN IT DROPS! We are living in the best timeline!

Given how Split screen works, it makes sense for it to be exclusive to the Hyperbolic time chamber.
After some basic research this what i found about how split screen works.
''When you're doing a split screen game, you are rendering the entire scene twice. You've got to perform all the culling, lighting, shading, and rasterizing, and effects steps twice in the same amount of time you would normally do it once. Considering that with many games rendering is the largest portion of the computational load, doubling it is more than the systems can handle''

When I see hone your skills exclusively in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, I think of it as a name for the menu mode option selection like "versus" or "battle" in Raging Blast, but instead it's gonna be called "Hyperbolic Time Chamber" from now on. Personally, I would believe it would suck if we can only fight offline on the Hyperbolic Time Chamber map.

I think it could also be another name for "training" mode. Rather than multiplayer battles it could be for practicing combos and stuff. Sparking Zero IS a fighting game and every fighting game has a training mode.

I think the “exclusively in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber” thing is the monkeys paw to getting local multiplayer. They mentioned local multiplayer might not make it due to the consoles not being able to run it properly. Basically they’re still giving us local multiplayer but only in the HTC since it’s a bland environment which wouldn’t hurt the game FPS performance.

@@josesosa3337 think it’s possible to run normally on other maps on ps5 and Series X. People are theorizing that they’re doing exclusively to the time chamber because of the Series S as it’s less powerful. Sucks that the other consoles have to suffer if this is the case
@@Pickles3431 it’s because Xbox has this thing where the Series S and X versions of the game must be the same (besides graphics). There have been a few exceptions like Baldurs Gate 3 which I hope happens with this game as well.

DONT FORGET, Dragon ball daima has also been confirmed as DLC characters, if you look on the information for the ultimate edition of the game! HYPED

I'm not interested in these type of games anymore, but something in me says i HAVE to get this total lovely fanservice of a game. It's a dream for everyone who loved Tenkaichi 1-3.
I feel you. I'll give this game a try, but single player fighting games or arena fighting games to be specific aren't as fun as when I was a kid.
I'm guessing what they mean by hyperbolic time chamber is that it's a mode or something doesn't make much sense that you would only be able to play with friends in the hyperbolic time chamber map

Think about it this way: If you have two field of views witnessing the area destructions in game on the same screen, it could cause not only framerate issues, but also possible crashes. However, since the only thing to be destroyed in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber is the little building itself, you don't gotta worry about it causing so much memory to load on the same screen on two cameras.
Yes! Saw others say that could simply just be the name of the VS mode is that it's called the Hyperbolic Time Chamber that is basically just VS Mode.
Another question to ask is: will it be split screen or not?? If not, it makes sense to me that you would only be able to play local multiplayer in the hyperbolic time chamber…
I’m pretty sure the tenkaichi budokai is relating to the tournament mode because it will obviously be 1v1,2v2 etc all the way up to 5v5 like it always has been BUT it won’t be multiple people for those modes. It wouldn’t run correctly and it would be a connection nightmare so it has to be 8 players for the world tournament mode and we can probably spectate each other and see who wins it all!

PlayStation fives that were talking about. if they are capable of handling 100 fortnight players in one world, they can surely handle 16 players in a fighting game like this. That’s exactly what it’s for and it’s kind of irritating that it’s only allowing eight players. They’ve always allowed eight players on all the games and it’s 2024 now. We have stronger consuls that can handle 16 players in a tournament. They even have the power to do a five versus 5 1 on ones team battle. Yet they don’t ever exercise that. It’s whatever I guess.

I believe it will only be hyperbolic time chamber due to it not being spit screen and that room is empty, which means no mountains in the way which would be hard for one of the players. I think maybe the tournament board for a tournament mode but still no real obstacles to hide behind

The reason it's only in the (Hyperbolic Time Chamber)HTC is because the game will be very demanding in split screen if it was normal stage which has a lot going on (environment), by allowing it in the HTC will be affordable since it is a less demanding stage due to the lack of complex environment details
I think it has something to do with split screen and the map, they would have to downgrade the graphics by alot for two player split screen so perhaps it looks best in the hyperbolic time chamber so they locked the vs mode to that stage. That's my theory

I’ve been right on every prediction I have had so far for this game but I’m calling it now the hyperbolic chamber will now have the ability to replicate stages as it does in the anime where as time progresses the weather and environment changes so for it not to be mundane and underwhelming I feel like the chamber will be akin to that making it possible to battle offline on different maps

I think the hyperbolic time chamber thing with local multi-player is the fact that current Gen consoles and PC would have a huge strain if it has to deal with two screens and the stage destruction on top of that, so it makes sense since the hyperbolic time chamber is relatively empty

Hyperbolic Time Chamber could be the name of the offline multiplayer.
I dont think there is any strain in having more than one screen as most likely that’s how online is gonna work. Two separate screens with each other logic and vfx running synchronized into both connected players.

Honestly those specs for PC are quite modest if you're happy to play the game at 1080p 30fps. Those specs would be considered basically low end in today's market so any mid to high end rig will play it like butter at 60+ fps in 1440p or 4K.

I'm still waiting for the storymode travel stuff, they got to bring back the map in some way, imagine if they did a kakarot type story mode in terms of control. In the past you could fly over the world and drop down to explore, but with this generation consoles I'm sure we could do much more, load times and other limitations don't exist anymore
