EVGA GTX 1070 no power limit hard mod

Hope everyone has had good morning/day this is a lil video about shunt modding for more performance out of older gpu's in todays video it will the gtx 1070 that was used in the i5 2400 or the 269 dollar cs2 pc build video i did.. hoping to get more life out of this card and maybe a couple more records on HWBot!!!
If you would like to see how to solder and what shunts are safe to use for this mod let me know in the comment section and i will make a detailed video while i solder on shunts to either a 1080ti or 2080 super!

SO without no power limit mod the best gtx 1070's can do 2.05ghz max and with mod they get 2.2ghz+, With a 1.275-1.33v core volt mod they go to 2.3ghz and with memory the voltage mods i have seen are all over the place, do to each test having different memory chips but they did 10000+ on the gddr5 memory.. crazy.. I have not seen mods done on the rare gddr5x yet. The Evga gtx 1070 hybrid I have has gddr5 micron memory.

@@Jumoana ya to bad it's just gddr5 so it's not much gain in benchmarks I can get my 3070ti to 11000+ which has gddr6x micron memory. Only way its stable is due to the copper shim mod I did on it as soon as I bought it lol. So far I have one of the fastest 3070ti cards in the world with multiple records. It compares to a 3080. When I get the memory mod done on the 1070 I will see how far I can get the memory to go!!
