- A little over two years after his first appearance on Aspel & Company (an interview of which can also be seen on this channel) David joins Michael to talk about his latest series H.E Bates Darling Buds of May drops hints of a new Christmas Only Fools and Horses, and recollects memories of a time when Yoram Globus (Canon Films) offered him the part of playing a porter in a Hollywood film. Also on this show is comedian and actress Josie Lawrence and the band Bananarama. I'm intending on uploading Josie's delightful interview another time while the Bananarama interview is already on CZcams and on a different channel. This episode was originally broadcast on the 30th March, 1991.

What a delightful interview, many thanks for sharing! I loved Darling Buds of May and Josie Lawrence is lovely. These interviews with Michael Aspel were so awesome. Please, do you have This Is Your Life with Cathleen Nesbitt (1980), with Edward Hardwicke (1994) or Nigel Davenport (1997)? There were also wonderful guests there, like Anthony Hopkins for example. It's very strange these are not on YT. Might be blocked because of film clips?
Sadly I not have any of those, nor do I have any of This Is Your Life. When I upload any interviews from a chat show that shows clips of the guests work, I remove the clip before uploading.
