Sir David mother has a resemblance to his wife in OFAH does anybody else agree?
Don't forget that Arnold Schwarzenegger travelled to the U.K and auditioned for the part of Delboy in only fools and horses around 1980.
They mocked him and told him that they were forced to turn him down because of his bad acting and his inability to do a cockney accent.
Arnold was fuming - but his own agent also mocked him.
He then flew back to the U.S and went on to film the Terminator in Hollywood.
But when Arnold was asked later in interviews about any particular role that he was sad he never got the chance to play, he stated that he was once suicidal because he got turned down for the role of Delboy in only fools and horses around 1980.
I don't known much about Andy's ability as an actor but I do known there was absolutely no way he would have fitted his body build body into the yellow three wheel car! More seriously, whoever made the decision to pick on D. Jason struck gold on that day. No one ever spoke a bad a bad word against the actor and his acting the part.Del boy as embodied by David Jason simply turned out to be what you call the ultimate popular guy.
