  • We started to install the outlets, and the light switches, but quickly realized that we had some issues with the wiring. So we pause, and contacted a licensed electrician, to come help us out and make sure the wiring is safe. Since the electrician got busy inside the cabin, we decided that we would just take the time to enjoy hanging out with our family. we were able to get Cameron set up with the paint sprayer so he could paint his cabin. We enjoyed walking on the trails and hanging out with our grandson. We are so excited that we now have electrical completed within the cabin so that we could plug our generator into the 30 amp power inlet box to run the lights and outlets! 😁 PROGRESS!!!!

@@r-ranchadventures There’s ways of doing septic yourself and the gutters for rain catching

Our septic is actually the only thing we will do that requires a permit due to the proximity of the water shed being near a major lake. We researched a leach field but can’t legally do one. And we bought our gutters awhile ago
we just need to get them up and establish the rain catch! So much work ahead. But we have also come a LONG from where we began! Such a fun adventure 😊. I appreciate your thoughts
 keep ‘em coming!

@@r-ranchadventures it’s amazing the progress you’ve made from only a shell. Check out the Crockers and how they did their septic on shootdang ranch. It also could be different state/city/rural restrictions
If I remember right he took 55 gallon plastic drum; and he drug out the exit lines and tabk hole and put gravel and some sort of filter in the underground barrel and had drain holes at the bottom. However they didn’t have a kitchen just cabinets
they sold and started over on a smaller property because they couldn’t get power.
Also great job electrician work. I was hoping that it would be done but I am not a professional
