Beautiful cars! Would love to see them driving.
When they 1st came out, I remember seeing one behind this huge window of my local Ford dealership with a price tag of £52K. I used to get my Dad to do a very slight detour just to look at it on our daily journey. RIP Dad, we had so many amazing times together, thank you!! x

In 1987 I was taken for a flat out (i was too yiung to drive) run in a RS200 on a fast b-road with ex pro driver, it was unbelievably quick and handled like it was on rails❤❤❤ remember it clearly
The amount of respect I have for a man for not only buying the RX43 but to give an rs200 abit of throttle on country roads is unreal 👌🏼

The best way to show people how amazing the rs200 was n still is, they always be my favorite car, always remember my dad talking bout them n taking me to show n see one fir 1st time blow my mind, that 6r4 was best experience for me as a kid
Ford Dealer I worked at had a RS200. Was very lucky to get to work on it and drive it many times. VIN No 155.

I was at the test rally for the RS 200. [Lindisfarne rally] 1985. Malcolm Wilson & Nigel Harris. Also saw Mark lovel driving it in Lombard rally. 👍🏆🇬🇧

Got to love the rs200. I have been fortunate to have been in a few in my time. Back in 88” I went round brands in sue Collins rs200 evo . Some time ago now. My dad then had a 3 door cossie in moonstone . Those.we’re the days… mins you I was 8… lol. The rs200 will always be a dream and memorable car for many including myself.. Thankyou so much for showing your collection. You just need a few other fast fords… surprised no rs500. Dad had one from 92 all the way up to 2018. Used to sprint hillclimbs etc. loved driving that with 500plus bhp in rear wheel … lol

We used to go see these in the World Rallycross Championship at Brands Hatch back in the day , many group B cars ended up there Peugeot Lancia Ford , great cars and great memories , thanks Mark .

thats a hell of a collection. remember peeking through the fences at Boreham when they were testing these cars as its local to me and ended up working there in the early nineties when escort cosworth was being tested.

no i was driving a dump truck and pulling up the famous Boreham airfield , fond memories saw some amazing sights , took some amazing pictures and spoke to some amazing old skool ford works people of the era. biggest memory was watching Ari Vatinan on his first test of GpA Escort cosworth couldn't believe my eyes
Boreham Airfield was at one time the fastest grand prix race track in the UK. There also used to be a breakers yard right by the A12 that had loads of Ford test/ experimental stuff in, they weren't meant to sell any of it. Shhhh don't tell anyone, they did.

The RS200 didn't win in WRC, since with the accidents it only ever started 4 WRC rallies. However the car was very successful on national level, winning the Championships of Great Britain, Belgium and Holland.

I started my collection 3 year ago and getting all the old school cars I wanted as a kid im up on 10 so far and still got a few more to go on my list, but running out of space 🙃

IMHO, the RS200 was the best looking of the group B rally monsters. I would love to have one (or even a cossie powered replica). They are just stunning to look at.
My heart sank a little when he said "we'll get it back to the garage where they belong", they belong on the roads to be seen and admired by all. 👍

Why have I only just found your CZcams channel. One car I always dreamed if owning was the Delta s4. They are in my eyes the craziest of the group b cars not as successful as the 205 t16 on paper but insane non the less. I wish the ecv had seen the light of day to. Great collection of cars and thank you for sharing your passion for them with us
