Welcome to the official Kombat Cup circuit with the Konquest series all powered by Stream.me
The season will run on Playstation 4 from October 23, 2016 to January 29, 2017. Events will be limited to North American players that are 17+ years of age and will start every week with open registration for the single elimination bracket play every Sunday’s in which the Top 8 will qualify to play on the following Wednesday for league points and cash prizes.

SuperNate42 it's really beautiful, a lot of people dislike MK games but it's really fun and amazing when you get good at it. Once you learn all the little attack sequences and specials and then get creative and make combos or chains learn how to integrate specials into combos and how to counter it gets really good. It's not just blocking the whole time followed with attacks or grabs until you get X-ray. Once you good enough, you won't even use the X-ray anymore because you can do combos that are stronger and you're gonna want to do breakers or save meter.

I've been watching Sonic Fox for a while now. The thing I notice the most is that Sonic knows the matchups really well. He seems to take a methodical approach.
Example. Say he is playing MKX and has 10 characters at his disposal. He will learn the top 5 and bottom 5 matchups and train those fights. Then he just picks a character and only deviates when he is losing or is getting outplayed.
I think this is how he comes up with all the successful tourney runs. Also, I do think he is really good, but I think its more important to note that he knows his matchups and limits his disadvantages. This strategy, IMO, and I'm no expert, has given him advantage and even dominating games vs top players for so long.
Feel free to debate tho cuz I'm still trying to figure out how he got so good so fast and stayed this level of play across multiple games

The only thing bad about this game is the advantage of counter picking. It eliminates the skill based competition. Once you are counterpicked, 1-2 tiers player below you can own you faster than your own level tier.

I was allways with sonic, bat looking back, the fact that cycl9ne had the game and he only lost because of the bad matchup (unstoppable beats relentless everytime) annoys me alot.

Maybe I'm in a minority of thought, but I'd rather a player rage-quit silently than stick around and whine and bitch and make endless excuses. The game is already set up to assign the defeat to the person who does that.
