• Tears for Fears - Ever... - Hudba
i genuinely believe this song is the definition of a timeless classic, one of the best songs ever in my opinion
It's a classic for sure but very much sounds like the 80s. Which isnt bad but I wouldn't say it's timeless. Some songs seriously seem to have a sound seperate from the decade they were in. This isn't one of them. Still a great song.
@@eliot327 ur right, tho this song is still timeless in a sense that i will listen to it until i die lol
I believe it to be the best song ever.
Catchy beat
Soulful lyrics

And when you play it everyone, and I mean everyone will join in

80s artists are true artists.
ABSOLUTELY!
Well you can’t put a blanket statement on all 80’s artists. Some like Axl Rose sound awful. This guy just took care of his body and likely kept up with his voice. Warm ups, lack of drinking drugs etc. Good for him
True that , 💯 agree!!
@@Amplified435 Well Axl destroyed himself with his own habits of alcohol and drugs.
@fred palmer I agree with you 100%! The stuff around today as just as bunch crap and trash! Except for maybe Madonna, Mariah Carey, Susan Boyle, Cecile Dion, Alicia Keys (What ever happened to her?) & Boys to Men, but that's it! If there's any talented artists today, it's a secret to me!
"Welcome to your life.... theres no turning back" that line hits hard

His voice is still so amazing, 37 years later and old but gold
The vocals are superb
That's probably because of the pitch correction. It's pretty obvious. Unfortunate but, they are 37 years older.
Right his voice is like wine it’s finer with age
@Big Chungus I'm 20 and my mom heard me sing it and said I sound just like him 😊😊

My oldest memory of this song is one day in 1987, it came on the boom box radio in my bedroom, and it was absolutely pouring down heavy rain outside as I watched out my window, I could hear the roof getting hammered by the downpour.

The 1980s an awesome decade.👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
this song can realease today and still be relevant for this era, certainly a timeless song
Most of all relevant to this era.
It's called prophesy and that's a gift from the Holy Spirit.
The song has extremely complex and divine lyrics.
When the walls come tumbling down that's Joshua with the Holy Spirit at the Battle of Jericho.
Won by using music to ensure victory for the Lord!
We think we are in a place where the light cannot reach us, but the walls come down (always considered a moment of liberation and truth)
When they do "I'll be right behind you" - that's a change of narrative source (of which there are several in the song.
You know, I hope, who the "I" who will be right behind us at the end is?
The true ruler of the world...
As opposed to the current (1 John 5:19) ruler.
This is why the song is so very great, and even defies simple classifications like "sad or happy"
It's the great recognition of love and truth - and the Paraclete is the Spirit of love and truth...
There’s certain songs that will never fade like this one. Classics.

I can’t believe that they sound exactly the same as in the 80’s! Their voices are on point
They got old. Well, they have released their first album in 17 years
It's playback. Drummer isn't playing the right tempo on the hi-hat, and he doesn't pedal it for the open hi-hat fills.
All the age went to their face not their voice.
@@Cooil1 you can literally hear him taking gasps and if you think this is the original vocals, I'm sorry, but you haven't heard this song.
