The stock tires are veeeeerry slippery, im no RC drift expert but the tires were hard plastic in the stock 969!
so i guess that made it too slippery! =P
will try the rim and tires set as your part soon!

DS Racing LF-3 is recommended because it is much more slippery than stock tires and can drift at low speeds.

I think WLtoys 284131 is good. The chassis is almost the same as the K989, so I think you can use the same mods as my K989.

Hey, I'm wondering if it is possible to change it to sanwa radio control?
I've got a Sanwa MT-S, which I would really favor to use the k989 with, do you think it is possible? :)
This is possible by changing the ESC and receiver. I also have MT-S. I have now modified the K969 as my second car to use the MT-S.

Just by the tires can make the k989 drift when it is a touring car?
Drifting is possible by simply changing to drift tires. Locking the rear differential is even better. For more information, see the video and video description below.

Which one is better for drifting? This or the k969??
K969 is ready to drift out of the box. The stock tires of K989 are touring tires. So you need to buy drift tires.
The other difference between the K969 and K989 is the diff and body. Both can be made the same with a little modification.
So I think it's best to choose the one you like. I chose the K989 because I like the Ford Fiesta body and front diff open and the rear diff rock.
