Why Flutter is not creating an efficient official state management?
keep the good work
Love to see fl_chart getting the props it deserves! Saved my life many times!!❤ Love Flutter
I'm happy you liked it bro, your kind words motivates me to work more on it 💙🔥
Very important package. Thank you Flutter team.
Thank you! I will do my best to keep it good
Thanks for flutter team
was about time. this package is awesome
Thank you very much! 💙
Your recommendations help me make better decisions in the market.
One of fav package. Credits to the author.
Zooming the graph is something missing as main feature.
Yes, zooming and horizontally scrollable is the most wanted features that I will do my best to implement them soon.
Thanks for your kind words
useful, complete and straightforward package 👍
Thank you very much! I do my best to keep it up 💙
Very useful package!
💙
Nice to see the original developer getting some love
💙
I love the creator of this package ❤
Thank you Rebar ❤🎉
It would be better if you haven't stop the support of the original google's charts library, since the js version is pretty much alive...
I agree
This looks cool! I think I'll try it!
Thank you! 💙
Don't forget to share your feedback with me
much needed ! 👍👍
Thanks 💙
Awesome 👏 👏👏
💙
plz make a sample for horizontal bar chart with api (fl_chart).
Awesome 👍👍👍👍
Thank you 😇
Very good package but have some important functionality missing, may be I will be lucky to get spare time to contribute and add value to this package.
- one of the missing functionality is the ability to have independent y axis scale for left and right
Zooming or scrolling through the data doesn't come out of the box either
I'm aware of both issues, I will do my best to solve them soon. Also contributions are always welcome!
Thanks 💙
Why Flutter is not creating an efficient official state management?
which tools flutter developers create this greate tutorials?
Is zoom available for longer chart data?
Not yet sir, but I will do my best to implement it soon
graphic package is underrated and is far more performant.
The "off the charts" caught me
Nice
Thank you! 💙
Is it possible to change the color of the line according to zones? There is no built in solution for it but can anyone help me out to make it possible?
Please search in the issues, I remember we have talked about it in some issues. But generally, you're right there is no built-in solution for this yet.
@@imaNNeO sure, thanks!
Greatest
Thank you! 💙
I use syncfusion_flutter_charts, because I needed to display multiple datasets in a line chart as well as provide a separate Y axis for each (due to a different scale and units), but I find it a bit clunky to work with, especially if you need to zoom and pan the chart programmatically which doesn't work well for me and throws errors that are difficult to handle.
Is fl_chart suitable for this as well? Is there someone who has experience with both packages and could provide some insight into how they compare?
syncfusion is the best! but I'm gonna have a go for fl_chart too on my next projects
@@anjoserohijos8106 probably same, unless I'll need some of the advanced functionality again. I think it's great to try out several libraries for the same thing, so that you've still got at least one lib you're experienced with if one of them stops being maintained.
Just mentioning here that syncfusion is a commercial package. To use it, you need to have either a Syncfusion Commercial License or Free Syncfusion Community license.
fl_charts on the other hand is public under the MIT license.
Nice🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thanks 💙
Someone knows how to scroll horizontally only plotted area in bar chart?
Wrap the chart in a SingleChildScrollView and set the scrollDirection to Axis.horizontal. This will allow horizontal scrolling of the entire chart.
SingleChildScrollView(
scrollDirection: Axis.horizontal,
child: BarChart(...)
)
Yes i did but i need scroll only bars area (axis y must be fixed).
To scroll only the bar area while keeping the y-axis fixed in a bar chart, you can use a LayoutBuilder to separate the y-axis and the bar chart into different widgets.
LayoutBuilder(
builder: (context, constraints) {
return Row(
children: [
// Fixed y-axis
Container(
width: 70,
child: VerticalAxis()
),
// Scrollable bar area
Expanded(
child: SingleChildScrollView(
scrollDirection: Axis.horizontal,
child: Container(
height: constraints.maxHeight,
child: BarChart(),
),
),
),
],
);
}
)
Unfortunately there is no built-in solution yet, but I like the tricks that people do for this. btw, I will do my best to add this most wanted feature soon

finally!

The potential is off the charts 😅
thank you for appreciating my pun XD
@@KhanhFlutter😂😂😂
Very funny 😂
This is really good
I do my best to keep it good as it is 💙
this package has so many small problematic issue, imo if you don't have to use chart, use another package instead
What are the other options (non-commercial)?
I would be happy if I hear your feedback about the issues, btw I can't put my full-time on developing fl_chart, but I do my best to keep it up and fix the issues gradually.

Very important package. Thank you Flutter team.
Happy you liked it 💙
