An object in motion wants to stay in motion unless acted upon by another force. Increase your speed and land with flaps 1. Your increased momentum makes it harder for wind to change your direction.
You haven't enabled damage from airframe overstress. That makes it a ton easier, or the plane would have been tearing apart long before landing, and surely during those extreme inputs!
