A Long-Hood Forward Leader On NS W9G - Ridgeview PA

We're at milepost 305 on Norfolk Southern's Pittsburgh Line at the crossing near Ridgeview Park. NS W9G is approaching with a long-hood forward AC44C6M leader up front. Problems with the power out east led to another train donating a unit that would be run long-hood forward all the way west. Watch as this train with an unusual leader runs through Ridgeview Park in the pouring rain! Filmed March 9, 2024.
