- The Volvo XC40 and XC90 are hugely popular - but the XC60 is the awkward middle child that never seems quite as popular as its siblings. Join Tim Rodie for a full review of the XC60, including a thorough look at practicality, interior quality, infotainment, engine choice and how it drives. Would you have it over a BMW X3?

I have one love it, you don’t have to use screen for climate, press the assistant button and say set temp to 23 , or raise fan speed, etc, do wish these testing people would find out what they are driving before pulling to bits.
My sister has an xc60 and i love it as does she. It's beautiful, comfortable and hauls everything she needs. I would get an xc60 myself.
There's always an idiot on a single track country road. Good job you were travelling at a more Volvo appropriate pace!
Yes - I know these things happen in slow motion, but it felt as if I had been sitting stationary for ages while he just kept driving at me before burying his car in the bank! -Tim
Wow! Glad that Astra looked where they were going occasionally 😮
You were reviewing a Volvo at least, not a Caterham 7 💪🏼
To turn the temp down... Just say hay google turn temp to... You don't need to use the computer screen. Same for sterling wheel temp and seats..
I don't want to talk to my car. I want a button or a knob (to turn).
@@lupislune yes I am old school too. But it's safer than tapping on a computer screen while driving.. Given the choice I would go for buttons..
I do agree with you here. Actual knobs would be nice, but the voice commands are really easy to use in a Volvo. Piece of cake. @@r1oo1
I don't think it's forgotten at all, it's Volvo's most sold model.
I like both. X3 and XC60. The XC60 before face-lift had more luxurious and refined details in it. The door bins had velvet and rubber to prevent things from sliding.
The XC60 is their most popular model and has been for awhile!
You’re so tall, you make the XC60 look short 😱
I know! The air's so thin at this height my hair fell off too. -Tim
😂😂😂. I am going to use this excuse now. @@motorpoint
I love my XC60 but I am broke for all the repairs! 😢
What mpg were you getting in the real world in this thing? Suspect it's pretty woeful!
In UK I test drove xc60 b5 for two days and got 36.5"mpg
I have a b4 diesel hardly ever see under 42 mpg.
Over heated screen, gearbox problem, are they still around?
I was told those issues were fixed by 2019-2020. I also don’t have that issue in my 2020 xc60
So delicious an exciting!
I wonder how come that this XC60 has 520 liters of boot capacity, while Tarraco and Kodiaq have over 700 liters?
not true, xc60 is the best selling volvo car in the US market
Haha what is up with the other driver though? Was he/she being chased by a mobster? 😂
Volvos are the best
I have a BMW X3. I got given an XC60 as a loan vehicle whilst my Beemer had some cosmetic damage repaired. The Volvo is bloody awful! Not even close to the X3 on any level.
How much BMW did pay you for this comment 😅😅😅
In North America, Volvos are now considered less reliable than BMWs, by a lot. I own an XC60 from 2012 (3.0 L Turbo). Very smooth.
You are not the first to need a BMW repair.😀
Volvo way better. I had MB BMW. I take a Volvo any day
@@kenjones102 Not at all true "Volvo is generally considered more reliable, with 3.5 out of 5.0 scores, according to RepairPal rating. BMW has only 2.5 out of 5.0. Volvo cars last up to 250,000 miles with about 20 years of extensive use."
One advantage the VOLVO has over the master race NAZI staff cars that are BMWs is that VOLVO have mastered the indicator / turn signal . It is an historical FACT that none of the Panzers use in the invasion of Poland had indcators . Keep smiling people they are only cars .
