- I put together my version of Joseph Pilate's 34 Classical Mat exercises taken from his book "Return to Life through Contrology", originally published in 1945. Joseph Pilates wanted to demonstrate how these 34 exercises, if performed correctly, could successfully achieve a great level of physical and mental fitness whilst in the comfort of your own home. Which, owing to the current situation with the Pandemic, seems ever more relevant today.

This is beautiful :) I am 22 and have been practicing pilates thru CZcams since I was 17. Lately I have been rly enjoying learning more about Joseph Pilates and his beliefs. The history is very intriguing

How many repetitions, more or less, for each?
As long as there is correct alignment and full range of motion / then depending on the muscle group - Between 3 x 8 or 3 x 5 as an approximate guide 🌱
Are you supposed to go through all of these exercises in one session? Doing 3x5 or 3x8 ?
