Make Seiko Great Again! Bring back Digital Watches

Seiko has over 50 years of heritage with digital watches, yet they seemed to have abandoned their history to concentrate on making mechanical models. This is my plea to Seiko to make digital watches again, which can happily coexist with their mechanical line. In this video, I look back to past Seiko digital watches to show why they were so good and still hold a place in collector's hearts and to inspire them to producing digital watches again. I desperately wish Seiko would re-introduce some of their 70s digitals. It's not like the technology is obsolete in the 2020s. I'd immediately buy a G757 4010 (the James Bond watch) if they re-introduced it.

Japan still sells some digital watches brand new. The Seiko Prospex Super Runners are completely digital and has casio-alike functions such as lap memory, world time, alarms, solar and well priced for my opinion.

Date cycles repeat every 28 years (7x4), so if your watch has no calendar for 2023 set it for 2023-28. Works both for 365 and 366 days year. There is an exception in secular years not divisible by 400, but that won't be a problem except in 2100, 2200, etc...
