They are so cool. I wouldn't know how to tell the time in most of these but they do look cool
This video is awesome! Love Tokyo Flash. A few years ago I was all about hunting down sci-fi looking watches, so a lot of these actually look familiar :)
I love the digital watches, especially e-ink displays and it's surprising there aren't more of them available.
Yes those seiko E-ink models they did for a while were awesome. MIP the current display tech that seems to be the future
Same, but ones that are unique AND combine amazing quality construction are so tough to come by. You get one or the other.
Ventrura watch look amazing, with intriguing movements, Tokyo Flash is lot of miss and hit... still want their train watch. Thank for the video
My pleasure. Yep some crazy ones in there - not to everyone’s taste!
Excellent. We need these watches today!
Great video 👍. For me this is ready to use shopping list;)
Ha ha I’m sorry if watching my videos causes too much shopping to happen!
Fantastic content again with these watches Gordon. Really enjoyed watching this.
Thankyou - you are always so kind with the comments. I’m slowly but surely getting the latest video done. Audio done and chipping away at the imagery
2:18 ..and that person was so happy to meet you and your Casio. Next time, cuppachino is on me! 😊 Great video as always, my friend.
Was my pleasure ! I came out of the deal well with the authentic biltong !
great finds
Fantastic,
OMG!!! I JUST purchased a watch by a company called "quadtec" which was a watch company started by Fredi Broadmam. I'm gonna try and do my first video on it when it get it cuz it def has a "quarky" way of showing the time.
fantastic video,,, great research
Thankyou very much! Have a look around the channel. Many more videos like this one!
Very cool video!!! I ❤
Ivor Novello approved.
Ha ha always look forward to seeing who approves. Hopefully Spielberg approves
Fantastic research you’ve put into this. Dig those Tokyo Flash watches as well as those evil Nubia smart watches near the end. Oh, and Yes watches are really, really cool as well - and easily obtainable 👍
Thankyou so much! Yeh I had loads of fun making this - some weird and wonderful options out there and I’m sure I only scratched the surface
Amazing video as usual, with lots of cool unknown digital watches. That automatic-digital is insane. On a side note, Adidas just recently changed their supplier from Nixon to Timex, and their "Digital Two" watch is really good, with a "retro" touch both in style and in construction (stainless steel case, curved mineral window, 50 m WR and Indiglo). Thanks as always for sharing your videos!
Thanks! I really like the old adidas Nixon one with two screens . Definitely need to check out the Timex adidas watches!
Yet another interesting video. Thank you. In the world of electronic/ digital watches, Zeon have offered a lot of weird choices in their time.
The Braun watches are awesome 👍
I've got a bare PCB red led Tokyo Flash watch 😆
Thanks for the adventure! I was all excited to buy a Lifeclock One AND then I saw the price! 😆
Those Yes Watches greatly intrigue me, the unique 24h time dial with light display is something I would find use for.
It's on my list for a potential long-term one to get when I want a more tool like but still unique thing as an upgrade of the MIP Casios I currently daily-drive.
The only issue with it for me is that it is very thick indeed. Don’t think I could pull it off sadly. The MIP Casios are fantastic. Great displays!
That Linde Vertelin scuba module watch I have coveted for a while. Theres deffo a vid in the dive computer/watch interface with Suunto Mosquito my first Gshock like dive comp/ "watch" there was even a full metal version.
Ha yes you like weird and wonderful divers I remember . Yes I agree - possible nugget of an idea there!
Where did u find your information on Fredi Brodmann and his time at ventura watches?
HELLO MISTER ! , AND YES , ALL WATCHES ALL ABAOUT SPORTIVES , FASHIONS , WATCHES MOVIE AND WATCHES SPACE LUNAR , ARE VERY COOL . ALSO THEIR DESIGNE , FUNKY SOME , HOW THEIR TECNOLOGY , OTHERS .
THANKYOU FOR THIS FUNNY TIME .VERY NICE AND ALL RIGHT VIDEO ! ! . 💪😉👍
KEEP IN TOUCH ! ! . 🖐️😀
Great video - how about looking at the Junghans Mega 1000 ?
Great shout! I do actually cover it on my video on German digital watches - so worth a look if you haven’t
Awesome video. I've had an Adidas digital or 2 over the years. There's one in particular I miss. Problem with them is once the strap goes or you'll need some serious capacity at DIY adaptions or the watch is gone. Doesn't stop me, seriously looking to get a BDM Speedo at the moment lol
Ha ha yep it’s adidas digitals a pretty niche area. By BDM do you mean Brazil Domestic Made? I just googled and yes indeed it seems Speedo does a whole bunch of watches - another one for the list!
@@IlluminatingWatches yes, that is what I mean by BDM. Seems to me that here Speedo is Seculus' answer to Orient's X Games and Mormaii fills the same role for Technos (being Orient, Technos and Seculus the local Big 3).
I can’t find these watches anywhere 4:43 where can I get one
Sadly the only places you will be able to look are eBay and other such sites . I don’t see any available at the moment though. Search is: Flud BMP MPC watch
That furni watch is just a reskinned casio dbx 110
Dude the one with the scroll looks a lot like the Braun digital
@@IlluminatingWatches you got a new subscriber today lol
I'll check the video with more detail later after work, I'm liking your research job so far 👉👉
You instill a delightfully painful sense of FOMWA (Fear Of Missing WAtches)
Pierre "Nobs" Fredi Brodnan? Does he really?😂
But that world thinnest watch did not go successful so it was called off completely
Yeh I think you are right. They seem to have not followed through on launching it
@@IlluminatingWatches yes I was reading about it I had created a watch channel and in which I will bring a video so was studying about it.
If you’ve had enough adventure and want fancier videos - you may enjoy this one on fancy digitals -> czcams.com/video/r35PJujlViI/video.html
Thank you so much for the HUGE amount of research you put into this video 👍
@@edwardfletcher7790 it’s a pleasure!
