picked up two AE1200's, a black one and a silver one, wore them to death, and after a polywatch wipe down, and a nice cleaning, they still look good as new- I haven't change the batteries on both of them yet so far running strong for 5 years.

i found extra functions in the Screct menu. i don't care if it's pointless and it's too long. from my latest experience, Hodo: light button shows number. use disp or mode to Up or Down. Light button again will say "OK" or something else. ID Check: Press Light button Shows "NG". Press again to Make "NG" disappear. could be done over and over again. MIP: Light button Will Black Screen, Light button again for Grey, Light button again flashea white&black, Light button again gets white background. Test Ver: Nothing. RX: Light button Gets no Return but shows Triangle. Light button again shows "NG". light button Again Enables Return. Time ADJ: Same Function as ID Check. T Observe: Light button Resets The check. so the "NG" Is gone for a while. Dev AD: Same as ID Check, But shows "OK" instead. Service TX: Nothing. DT TX: Light button Get No Return, Light button Again enables Going Back. DT RX: Same as RX, but shows Number instead. TXP: Same as Dev AD. Current, Vib: Nothing. Tlt: Light button To check Sensor 2. Light button again to Sensor 1. T01, T02. T02 Is the opposite of T01. Acc Self, Step Count, Battery, Font Ver: Nothing. Fact: Light button Shows "m1rom", Light button again shows "acc temp", Light button again Return to "Diff". Watch, FlashFact, FwVer, Demo, Shimuke: Nothing. Bonus: Setting Shimuke alters Region, but also adjusted the clock by itself.

The hesalite crystal moon watch is still flight qualified by NASA to this day.

does it keep its water resistance?

I prefer my 800H. Functionally identical sans the near useless seconds display and world map.

I returned mine. It looks absolutely amazing by itself but on the wrist, It is too childish for me. I'm not exactly a collector of watches, I'm more utilitarian in that regard. I can see why this could be a collector's item.

Casio needs to bring back the AX series watches from the 80's with the fine second and minute analog displays and melody alarms.

i have the number 4 (DB-33W) since i was 8 years old. still working but it turns off after some days. i dont know whats wrong with it. i wore it 13 years before it failed. my sister has the casio DB-30, witch is basically the same watch.

£139 is a good price for a limited edition G-Shock.

I think the packaging is done for environmental reasons. I have bought a lot of G-Shocks from G-Shock UK recently and every single one had the 'green' packaging. I bought both but I imported the white one as I didn't know if G-Shock UK were getting them in. I also bought the G-5600BG-1 which was a birthday celebration for Casio and Earth Day. It has not come to the UK but it is nice and every watch is unique due to the mixing of the colour materials.

I'm really annoyed by this, honestly. If I want a G-Shock, I'll just buy a G-Shock. I want Casio to start making innovative designs like they did in the 80s and 90s.

I have the GDB500S-8. I was honestly surprised how small it is compared to other G-Shock offerings. I honestly thought that it was a Baby G at first.
