Very nice idea this video!! It would be great if in the next one you'll link the raverly page in infobox! I really love your selection!
Thatâs a great idea, in the future I will just make a ravelry bundle so people can look through them all! Thank you!!
Thank you for putting this together, you have chosen some beautiful patterns,,trouble is I want to knit them all đ, just subscribed, and looking forward to the next one.â€đ§¶
Hahaha Iâm the same way, thank you!!
I just found your channel and insta the other day and I'm so thrilled. I'm also (supposedly) a true summer, and your style is so similar to mine. Your barbroe top turned out STUNNING and I'm feeling so knitfluneced. This is a great video and I'm looking forward to more!
Thank you so much!! It is really an amazing top I canât recommend it enough! The color I used for it really helped the pattern shine
I really like this concept of finding new patterns!
Regarding the merino and silk held together, I would think it makes a better fabric for the summer. The silk makes it less warm and the merino has the stretch to it.
I haven't mixed these exact yarns but I have mixed mulberry silk with merino for that reason (and for the lovely shine that mulberry silk gives).
Great idea! Thank you. I hope you can do this every month
I definitely will!!
Thank you, a real time saver for your viewers đđ»
Thanks for watching :)
Something interesting to me about ease is that in sewing itâs typically talked about in terms of percentages. 4â of negative ease is 10% for someone with a bust size of 40â and closer to 15% for someone with a bust size of 30â!
Love this idea to do a monthly round up (if itâs not too much work for you, of course đâșïž)! There are so so many beautiful patterns coming out all of the time, I feel a bit overwhelmed sometimes- so this type of video is very helpful. And I appreciate having your take on whatâs new- I like how you go beyond the âfactsâ of the pattern and talk about why each one is interesting to you! (Ps- officially itâs âEuro centsâ but everyone just says cents đ)
PPS- I made the Rose Cotton Headband (Bodil Mattson) and I love it! Super fun lace pattern đ I think the pattern is written fingering but I made minor adjustments and knit it in heavy DK/worsted. Great for leftovers- Iâll definitely be making more.
Thank you! I know, I didnât even think about how many patterns were released until I started thinking about this video, I swear I went through hundreds of patterns! I really appreciate that :) I really really want to knit that headband and itâs good to know you liked it!! â€ïž
As always, lovely and curated selection of patterns. I will cast on the mixed rib cami soon. Regarding your question of combining silk and merino - it is quite a popular combination for temperature regulating garments as silk cools and merino warms, but doesnât keep the moisture. It is especially recommended (in Northern Europe at least) for baby knits as babies can not regulate their temperature and are sweating a lot. Hence, cotton garments would cool them down too much if the garment is wet from sweat, pure silk garments would maybe be too cool and merino too warm.
Thank you!! That makes so much sense that I canât believe I didnât realize it, if it were a single yarn that was a merino/silk blend it wouldâve made perfect sense to me! For some reason my brain didnât connect the dots with holding the two of them together lol. Thank you for that info!
@@truesummerknits I totally get that. I love to combine different yarns for interesting fabrics (my favourite is wool and linen blends for summer, but I live in colder climatesâŠ)
Loving your pattern choice. Will be knitting mixed rib cami from this list, and haru sweater looks amazing but the smallest size is way too big for me, unfortunately. Thank you for the video!
Thank you! I know, itâs unfortunate. Her other patterns seem to have more sizes, so maybe in the future she will grade it further. Iâm glad you found some good patterns though!
I have been waiting for the mixed rib cami as well! Super excited to knit ittttt
Before the pattern was even released I bought dusty aqua kfo for it, I am in love with it!!
@@truesummerknits so am I! Itâll look so good in dusty aqua! Iâm planning on knitting mine in soft blue! Very excited to start it!
I love these patterns, I absolutely love the way youâre explaining the details of the different designers. I love the knot top, that looks like it would be hard to make but so beautiful!! â€â€â€

That was great â€â€â€
