I believe they should be happy but it IS funny, isn't it? I mean the jokes are funny and so is Daz. He never fails to make me laugh. But like I said, they really should be happy and they seem like they are, which makes me happy too. Age is only a number, unless you're getting minors involved in illegal activities. They aren't hurting anyone. They seem to be actually making ppl laugh and getting ppl clout from their content, so anyone who doesn't like this content should just look away and shut up or maybe try having more of an open mind about the age thing bc they actually produce creative content. I should add... If they are truly happy, that's great, but I feel she groomed him and still is.

My opinion about age gaps, hmm I'd say they're fine as long as it's legal and they're happy. If I were to see a large age gapped couple, naturally I'll be shocked/surprised but I won't comment since it's not my business.

When I was 15 I met this 30 year old man, my dad owned a pub so he came in all the time. He used to buy me stuff, when I turned 16 we started dating until my dad found out and assa assaulted him, it ended rather abruptly. I was devasted but eventually got over it, it wasn't until my daughter who is 21 by the way not a child, turned to me a said, mum you do know he groomed you. It took me 30 years to realise what he did. He abused me plain and simple. And she is doing the exact same thing. This is very wrong

The reason I have a problem with their relationship is that she met him when he was only fifteen and waited until he was 18-20 to finally marry him. I feel bad that he hasn’t realized what she’s doing to him.
that's the thing is that age difference is not the only factor people have a problem with here. this situation HEAVILY implies grooming. if the roles were reversed and a much older man met a 15 year old girl and married her as soon as she was of age, people would immediately call it grooming and inappropriate.

The only problem with age gaps, for me, is that they always imply the possibility of grooming. It always feels to me that the younger person in a dramatic age gap like this is being groomed. Like that line about how his boss was her son. There's definitely a power dynamic there that makes me uncomfortable. Now, there's a very real possibility that there is no grooming in this relationship and I'm jumping to conclusions. At that point, I don't care, I'm happy for them, post what you want to and don't worry about haters. Turn off the comments like Daz said or something, I don't know. But again, the problem for me is the idea that someone here is being groomed. That's why "as long as they're happy" doesn't really hold true for me because someone being groomed is inclined to believe the relationship is happy and healthy.
Yeah like with this relationship, they started dating when he was 15, that is grooming. We shouldn't have to think about it like this but it does help people get the image better, is that you can imagine if it was a 15 year old girl and a 50 year old man, people would be losing their fucking minds.

My friend was groomed and thankfully got out of the toxic manipulative relationship. It wasn’t a huge age gap, but there was a power dynamic issue. Not in how they met he was just manipulative sometimes. She said he started out nice and then became less and more controlling. Although this is strange I’d be okay with this for other people, if the relationship was healthy. But yeah the fact her son was his boss… it does feel like some type of power dynamic manipulation which if that’s the case I feel sorry for him. Now look some people don’t mind even being manipulated, in that case good for them. But you never really know the true nature of relationships. I just hope the guy is actually happy and although this seems like grooming bc the son is the boss of him I rlly just am having wishful thinking.
