What I love about Adam Young, is that his music is GENUINELY different, and he's such a nice guy. He doesn't take his fans for granted, and he wants to show that he really appreciates and loves everyone. Why people hate him is beyond me :\

Adam Young: Writes his own lyrics, crafts his own melodies, AND the accompanying harmonies. Plays the drums, guitar, and piano, and incorporates clever symphony. Dresses up nice and appropriately, exercises and maintains muscle, has a cute face, and looks good with any hairstyle or beard. He makes wonderful soundtracks, enchanting covers, and has a gentle, yet occasionally strong and raspy singing voice. He is humble, respectful of women, friendly with his crew mates and fans, and an easy collaborate. Adam is humorous in his interactions with fans, yet not afraid to talk about serious topics, or give advice. He skateboards for fun, he watches wholesome movies, and dances like a total maniac on stage.
My point being, is that Adam Young, is one of the kindest, coolest, most attractive, and talented people on Earth. There is no valid reason, as to why anyone can could possibly hate him. Mr Owl City, is just 2fab4u.

This man doesn’t get enough credit for being such an inspiration, he creates incredible atmospheric, melodic and magical music. But doesn’t get enough credit because he’s not “marketable” like all those fake artists who use their sex appeal to sell their “music”
Adam actually worked hard to achieve his career but he doesn’t get enough credit for it. That just sucks! And shows how unfair the music industry really is today.

Whenever I go through these old videos of Adam Young I kind of feel sad :( I miss how cheerful he used to be back then. Although I don't know him personally nor have I met him but going through his recent videos (Specially the 2015 concert in China) he looks so..well, how I say it.."reserved"?!

The Ocean Eyes Era (Adam) and Speak Now Era (Taylor) defined who I am today and I will be forever grateful to them for that.
There's something about Adam that will always mystify me.
He always seems so interoverted, shy, and humble at the same time, until he lets go whenever he's playing his music on stage.
At first you might think that he's not that hard to understand,
but I will always wonder of the depths of that brilliant mind of his..
You know how at concerts they say "This is my favorite city so far on the tour!" or something like that and it's obviously a lie? Well at his concert I went to in Minneapolis he said "It's so great to be home" and I almost shit my pants I screamed so hard.

So this October I WENT TO AN OWL CITY CONCERT! IT WAS SOOOOOOO AMAZING AND IT MADE MY YEAR! AND I LOVED IT SOOOOO MUCH! I did not drive there though and none of my friends went but it was still SOOOOOOO SOOO GREAT!

This was a magical time in my life, I remember it like yesterday. I used to watch this video over and over again, because I loved (and still do) Owl City. The innocent optimism is something that this album specifically conveys to me is one that i sorely miss in my life, so every so often i will listen to Ocean Eyes and harken back to the days of my early teens, where i was a quirky kid just trying to get by highschool. I will forever be grateful for Adam and his music making such a heavy impression on me. May everyone find happiness in their own special way, Thank you Adam.

I will never forget the time i went to his concert! I had a blast and i knew all his song. I cried when he came out cause i would never thought i see him at a concert! Love ya adam!
Whenever I hear his music, I think of lying underneath the stars or watching the sun rise or set. It's just so peaceful, occasionally slightly melancholic, but always with this deep-rooted optimism. It's hard to find that in music. Your music is both deep and wonderful, please keep it up, Owl City! God has really blessed you. =)
aww adam's so awesome, i'm so happy for all the success he's gotten over the past years. I'm so glad I got to see him front row in a small venue a couple years ago before he got this big! I don't think i'd be able to relive that experience again...

I went to an Owl City Concert during his 2011 tour. I remember I cried when "Angels" started, it wasn't even one of my favorite songs of his but it just hit me that night. I would love to go to another concert of his someday, I love his music and he is adorable live.
Owl City is a genius and honestly the world needs to know. I honestly believe Owl City and Adele are the few singers who sing really beautiful music these days devoid of foul language.

You know what is kind of weird? I like listening to Ocean Eyes while I am in a car ride and just look out the window. Owl City music just kind of makes me feel about how happy the world is, and all of his music makes me think of nature and idk. It just makes me happy :)
